What's there not to like. I felt so welcomed and enjoyed the traditional setting. I recommend the spicy crab roll.

The best sushi restaurant in Columbia, hands down. Camon has the most authentic Japanese/Okinawan food in town as well. It doesn't get better than what Eric and his staff chef up. Have been eating here for 20+ years.

Not what it once was. Sad:( $40 for 2 ounces of sashimi is crazy. Good taste so If you like rolls you are probably good.

I went here 2 years ago. The food was okay, just not the people working there. Did NOT welcome me with open arms, and their hospitality was so bad! If service is bad, everything else is also bad along with it, so ok I lied when I said the food was okay. When service improves, I will edit my review.

Wow, amazing food and even better service. Thank you to the owner Calvin and his family for 10/10 service.
The owner of this place is so sweet and the sushi chef is very talented. Such a calm and peaceful place to enjoy dinner. I wish they were also open for lunch given their great downtown location!
I think I've fallen in love with this simple sushi restaurant. The rolls are simply made and pack so much flavor. You don't miss all the sauces and tempura fried rolls. It's just not needed. I imagine this style of sushi is truly authentic. (I don't actually know... lol) By far my favorite sushi restaurant in Columbia.

Very nice and quiet restaurant. I am by myself on graduation and the owners gave me a free slice of cheese cake as a congratulations. Complimentary tea is a nice touch and the food was good.
Excellent food, super friendly staff, authentic experience, super recommended!
Came here with my family and the man host was really rude and would not accommodate 5 adults and 3 children. Meanwhile the sushi chef is outside smoking. Then the man host came outside to confront us for leaving a negative review causing my 2 small children to cry. Then the man host threaten to call the police while I was standing on the public sidewalk when we had already left the establishment.
In town for a baseball series and found this gem to take my son, who loves sushi. The ambience was great, from the music, to the decor and the waitress dressed in a kimono. She was very attentive and charming. Loved that the meal started off with tea! My husband who is kind of a sushi snob and likes his place, also said it was good, so it must have been. I had shrimp teriyaki and it was very good. When in town again, I would definitely go back. Highly recommend.
AMAZING! Fresh and delicious!
