In town for a baseball series and found this gem to take my son, who loves sushi. The ambience was great, from the music, to the decor and the waitress dressed in a kimono. She was very attentive and charming. Loved that the meal started off with tea! My husband who is kind of a sushi snob and likes his place, also said it was good, so it must have been. I had shrimp teriyaki and it was very good. When in town again, I would definitely go back. Highly recommend.
Camon is an excellent place for a lunch or dinner date. It's so hard to find pub style/comfort Japanese food with good portions for one or to share. The server is a nice man and very helpful with any questions you have/trivia on Japanese cuisine.

I will say I didn't care much for the Strawberry crepe cake, my friend adored it though, so it's simply a taste preference. The Udon with tempura was the most comforting dish I've had in a while.

The food is ok. The fatty tuna was so cold, it really reduced the quality and taste of it. Not worth $20 for 2 nigiri. The anago was not so great either. Overcooked maybe? Stick to the fried rolls here, if you want sushi, or if you’re not particular about your fish then it’s fine. Service is always fantastic!
