Cantina is one of our favorite places to eat, chill, bring friends, and just have a good time. Sis in love is in town so we decided to take everyone there. It was super busy because it's cinco de mayo weekend and uofsc students were graduating so it was about a 35-40 minute wait which isn't too bad for a Friday night. They had a list of really good drink specials but the one that caught my eye was a strawberry coconut margarita so of course I had to get it. I think it was a great choice. I chose Luna azul for my liquor and the drink was strong but not too strong. I could definitely taste the strawberry but just a hint of coconut. It does have a sugar rim so that also helped with the aesthetic of the drink. I also got a grilled fish taco and a chicken pesto taco. The grilled fish taco comes with jalapeños but I chose without. It was a smidge salty but the flavor was really good. You can definitely taste the fish but the sauce is really the star of the show. Hint of spice with a little tang to cut the fish flavor. Definitely always a go to. I tried the chicken pesto cuz I don't think I've seen it on their menu before. I got it without pico cuz I don't like it and honestly it was perfect. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was really flavorful, not too salty. The lettuce gave it a nice texture and gave the taco some freshness. The pesto sauce was so good, it really was what made the taco come together. It was a 10/10. I would definitely try that one if you come.

I will never pass up an opportunity to go to Cantina 76. The service is always consistent and so is the food. I've never had an issue with my order; it's always come out hot and no mistakes. The service is also super quick. Most importantly, the restaurant and environment has always been clean. I enjoy going every time! My favorite menu items are the quesadilla, trio (tres hombres) and any margarita really.

Cantina 76 never disappoints with the delicious tacos at very affordable prices We were greeted and seated upon arrival. The service was fast and the waitress was attentive. They offer specials everyday and the waitress explained everything thoroughly. The guacamole is always fresh and the chips are always hot. The tacos are delicious with fresh ingredients. A great variety to choose from including vegetarian options. The atmosphere is always very chill. In addition to the indoor dining room and bar area. Outside patio seating is also available. Parking can be a hassle.

I am gluten free (celiac) and this place was great. Everything is clearly marked on the menu what is GF and what isn't. The chips and dips are GF! All tacos can be done on corn tortillas. When I placed my order, I asked the waitress if she could put in the computer that a had a gluten allergy. She said absolutely she could even make a note for them to change their gloves before handling my order. Food was good, half price pitchers of margaritas for happy hour. Will 100% be back!

I went in for lunch and was seated at a table. I waited for 10 minutes and nobody stopped at my table. I walked out. There were only 3 tables seated and I saw at least 5 employees.

My overall experience was really pleasing. Our food arrived quickly.. The waiter was extremely helpful. The atmosphere was really nice as usual. The food was prepared exceptionally. Well, this visit, everything was really fresh. We will visit again in the near future.

The atmosphere was relaxed compared to the Main Street location. The prices are affordable, yet the food was not seasoned well. If you are looking to try something new, I would suggest. Not a fan of the overpriced small entree type restaurant. We were very hungry though and it was late. Very small tacos and nacho plate as well. Food quality was very good but once again we felt that there was absolutely not much value for the items received. We will probably not revisit.

We have been to this restaurant many times since it opened. The food quality is going downhill. On our last two visits, we received food that was at room temperature, and the avocado dip was brown. We asked our server if they had a fresh avocado dip. He said no, and that was the end of that conversation. We do not plan to go back.
