Went there for dinner 11/22/19 but the restaurant is no longer in service. According to their website the wine shop is still operating but they’re not serving food.

A stand out in Columbia's culinary scene.

The shutdown of CoG is a real loss. It was one of my fave go-to places in Columbia when I am here on business. Im not surprised, as it was always quiet, and I guess being a best well-kept secret restaurant is not great for business. I will miss it and its stalwart and very able bartender Laurel. On the other hand, Friendly's is still awesome. Good luck!

Wonderful evening and the 3 for $29 is a great value. Excellent wine list, creative and well executed food items, and a friendly and educated staff make for a great date spot. Thanks to Jessica, Joanna and the rest of Cellar's staff for a delicious date night for our anniversary.

A hidden gem! A smallish quaint space with super friendly staff and delicious food! Beautiful presentations. Feels very neighborhoody. I can't wait to go back! Busy but not too loud.

Thank you for perfectly crafting the BEST meal I've EVER had in Columbia! The BBQ glazed shrimp with micro greens was phenomenal, the Tuna Nachos were fantastic, and I'm still in awe of the Lobster Mac—which had the meat of a whole lobster claw buried under the pasta…5 STARS!

Went with another couple and the meals were 50/50. The fish was great. The lobster pasta was undercooked and had no taste and seemed like they forgot the lobster and any kind of sauce. Both couples had the same two meals and the same experience with the fish and pasta. The cheesecake was really great, the chocolate and pb bread pudding not so much. For the price, it should all be great, not 50/50.

Absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I went for a date night last night. The staff was so friendly and attentive. We both ordered the three corse. I got the goat cheese and artichoke dip, the flat steak, and the pound cake. All so yummy! Our server, I wish I could remember her name, but she was so great. I would recommend this place to anyone. Loved it.

Full disclosure up front: I am not a wino. If you are this spot very well might be an easy 5 star for you. We had the pork and pan steak and they were both very good and very reasonably priced. I liked the nachos we ordered as well and thought it was a cool idea that was very well executed. It misses five stars because the dessert just didnt quite do it for me but would for sure recommend this spot if you are in town!

Great service in a cozy setting. I've never had a bad meal here and it's a wonderful place for a date night. Of course, don't forget about the wine. The knowledgeable staff will help you find a great pairing to any dish. It can sometimes be a wait to get a table but it's worth it.
