The experience feels intimate, the talent on stage have always been good, service is intentional... so you will be taken care of. You should go!Parking: Get there early to park in their parking lot. There other lots free to park in but parking by the building will be difficult if you get there 20 min after the doors open.

Absolutely amazing experience! The overall ambiance and energy of the space was warm, inviting, elegant, and jazzy. Imagine if Jill Scott, Maxwell, Teddy P, Marvin Gaye, India Arie, Janet Jackson, H.E.R, Usher and The Roots band started a club together......with G. Garvin as the chef!! Babyyyyy, the short ribs were stupendous, the service a slamdunk, the drinks delectable and the music (band and singers) was nothing short of mesmerizing!!! We felt safe, welcomed, full, and excited about our next visit! Get your tickets and GO!!!

My wife and I went there with friends and completely enjoyed ourselves. The music, food and atmosphere worked well together. Definitely a 5⭐️ experience.
This place is truly a location that you can be comfortable without having to look over your shoulder….They have policies in place to ensure all customers are comfortable… The food was fresh and prepared in a great portion size. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable and eager to assist with your needs ( we spilled a drink during the show and the staff immediately began to clean the drink up, well, first they provided me with napkins to clean my dress) . I haven’t seen this type of customer service in a long time…. The entertainment was phenomenal and the drinks are NOT WATERED down. We finally found a restaurant that does not water their drinks down…. Overall, this establishment exceeded my expectations! I would have to say this is the greatest jazz spot in Columbia, SC… Go and see for yourself!!!!

The food is absolutely wonderful and a wonderful blend of cuisine and classy music.We made friends, ate good, and enjoyed live music, what more can you ask for?The garlic braised short rib is juicy, flavorful and fell off the bone. The strawberry layered cheesecake was so good we had to stop ourselves from ordering another one.There’s not another place in Columbia like Chayz, she does it right ?
