On 10/23/24 around 6:50pm est I visited this location on harbison blvd. The person at the front register seemed nice to those in front , but when it was my time he didn't greet me at all so i decided to just ask about the family meal and if I could place that order in the store. Well, he said that's something I should've done online and asked what type of meal did I want. I explained that I wanted the 6 croissants and chicken salad family meal. He then proceeded to accuse me of being the "cake lady" I informed him it was only my second time at this place and the last time I came was over a year ago. He said" no it's you you're the lady and my gm told me not to serve you anymore if you came back" I once again informed him that I had no idea what he was referring to that I am not that lady. He then said ma'am I have camera footage of you, it's you. I said, ok I'd like to see it. He just said ...its you ma'am. Well I changed the subject by asking if he again could take my order or do I absolutely have to place a pick up order. He said I need to place the order online and that they would be closing in an hour. I felt so embarrassed because there was a line full of people hearing this conversation. I left, placed my order and came back to pickup my food. He still had a non-chalant attitude with me so I asked him if I could see the footage of "my twin" because whoever it is is messing up my name and what did she do? He then said he doesn't have time to pull it up but it's you ma'am. Then one of the other employees looked at me and said " Rob that is not her" he (Rob) looks back at me and then looks at his employee and says oh its not, then says to me well he said it's not you so. I proceeded to ask what this lady did attempting to calm myself down from not only the harassment but the embarrassment this had caused Apparently, the lady stole a piece of cake and walked out. Rob the manager did not apologize or anything, I then order some cake to go and he just told me about a survey on the bottom of the receipt. I will not be returning because of this. I have never experienced this in my life and would like some type of restitution.

Jo the “manager” and Rob are the absolute worst. They both argued me down saying that a small 7.99 bowl/cup (what i asked for) is the same serving as a scoop (what i was charged and received). I told them i would pay the difference but he insisted that it was the same and even stated “I’ll put your scoop in a small bowl if that’s what you want”. I left, went online to the menu and saw that a small cup serves 2-3 and a scoop serves 1, so i called back. Jo was very rude and condescending while over talking me and told me to come back tomorrow to pay for a small bowl since that is what i want. I will never spend my money here again.

1st time in this location
Sign on door "online order only"
Ordered and went in at hours before closing. Entry area blocked had to go exit way. An employee with a vacuum blocks me asking if I read the sign on the door. I said yes. She con'ts vacuuming. That carpet needs cleaning badly. ?
I get to counter and no one is there. I wait a minute or two and lady in back yells for the vacuum employee to come give out order.
She gets to the order window and I hear one of them say "the white lady order". Well that was either me or the other "white lady" waiting. Vacuum lady then calls a black lady by name whom is waiting and says you can have a slice of cake since you are there. (Normally this wouldnt matter however due to the white lady comment it does)
She then gives me my order. I was not offered cake. ☹️ There were 20+ slices covering the entire counter and nothing in display case.
Got home and my "fancy nancy" had celery in it. I believe they just tossed in pecans and a grape into classic.
I also had grape salad. I ate a grape and something stuck in my throat. Luckily I was able to cough it up. It was part of the vine that was left on the grape then covered.
Half the grapes had the stems in them.
This is Rude, Racist, Unorganized, Dirty place.

I love this place and visit it often when I am in SC. My last visit was the worst ever; though I will admit I was there about 40 minutes before closing time, the guy that "helped me" was very UNfriendly.

I've always driven by here and wanted to stop. It was excellent as far as the food. And the story of how the franchise came about is pretty awesome too. They seem like people who are truly interested in humanity and worldly events. They donate to the Cancer society and the search for a cure for cancer. Which is pretty awesome. And they have multiple different flavors for their chicken salad options.

Three of the four different employees were extremely rude.

Yelling, “Have a blessed day” aggressively doesn’t mean what you think it means.

Many varieties chicken salad. They change the options so it’s never boring and there’s always something new to try. They will give you a sample if you would like before making your decision delicious sandwiches. They have great salads and fresh cake and cookies. My favorite lunch spot.

Dietary restrictions: Upon request, they will offer you a complete allergen list and nutritional data. They are always very helpful and answering questions.

Parking: It gets busy for lunch and you may not be able to park right at the door, but I have always found a parking place.

Kid-friendliness: A very friendly place and children are welcome. Hi chairs available.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is not an automatic door opener, but it’s all one floor and has tables that can easily accommodate a wheelchair.
