I’ve never been to Chipotle before, but I decided to try it after seeing a TV commercial. After this one visit, I will never go back to Chipotle again. Honestly, this single bad experience has completely ruined my view of the entire Chipotle chain. I walked in around 1:00 p.m. There were already 5 or 6 people in line, so I thought the place must be really good if people were willing to wait. I didn’t mind waiting my turn at all. When it was finally my turn, I politely told the first worker, “I’ve never been here before, and I might be a little slow.” She didn’t say a single word - she just stared at my face as if saying “So?”. While waiting in line, I watched how other customers ordered and learned, so I asked for a bowl with brown rice, beans, and extra grilled vegetables. She gave me a look when I aske for extra vegetable, though, but she slid my bowl toward the vegetable section anyway. At the next station, I asked the second worker, “Is that tomato or maybe pico?” She completely ignored my question and just dumped it onto my bowl. I quietly told myself, “Okay, maybe I need to try it anyway!” and let it go - I was still okay at that point. Next, I asked for lettuce. I noticed a little cup of red sauce and asked, “Is that hot sauce?” I never said I wanted it - I was only asking what it was. Once again, no answer. Instead, she grabbed one, tossed it next to my bowl, and walked away to help someone else without saying a word. Then I reached the cashier. She asked if I needed anything else and said, “To go or here?” I said no, so she rang it up. I took out my credit card to pau for it but she never once told me where the payment terminal was and had to look around the counter, trying to figure out for myself where I could swipe or insert it. It’s not easy to spot those things when you’re in an unfamiliar place, and yet the cashier offered zero help or directions. At that moment, I thought to myself, “This company must be hiring people who have serious trouble speaking or communicating with customers. Pretty pathetic!” When I got back to the office and opened my food, I checked the receipt and noticed a $1.00 charge for hot sauce. I never asked for it - I only asked what it was - and yet they added it to my order and charged me anyway. It’s not really about the $1.00 charge itself; it’s about the principle. If anyone had simply said, “That’s hot sauce and it’s $1 extra - do you want it?” I would have been more than happy to pay and try it. But no one bothered to ask at all. I can’t stop thinking about this: If this is how Chipotle trains its employees, I don’t want to spend even a penny there again. The food itself wasn’t anything special either. It’s definitely not worth putting up with such rude, unfriendly, and uncaring service. On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being the best and 1 being the worst), I would give this experience a -1. That’s how disappointed and unhappy I was with the service.

Probably the worst chipotle I’ve been too and I’ve been to a couple across the country. The wait time is ridiculous. Def will not be coming to this location again

All multiple occasions in the middle of the day will only take mobile orders when nothing is wrong with the facility and with the proper amount of staff.

They rarely open on time and of you show up within 30 minutes of whenever they decide to open it's a good chance they aren't gonna have something ready that you want. They either don't have cheese, or out of sour cream, other times they won't have kids for cups. This is a prime locations just not well ran.

Workers never seem to care or move with speed. I know they are kind and hard worker but one of them moves like the sloth from Zootopia. There are never enough workers. This is a managements issue. For the last 30 minutes during lunchtime on the weekend they had 1 worker on the line. I will no longer be coming back here unless management can personally reach out to me and tell me they fixed the issue

I ordered Uber Eats delivery. My food was delivered on time, the issue is, it's not what I ordered. I ordered a burrito and what I got was ingredients thrown into a Tupperware. I also ordered chips and guacamole. Only the chips were in the bag. I couldn't expect the Uber eats driver to check the food because the bag is sealed. I am confused as to how you print out the sticker that shows my order, put it on the Tupperware and not see that what is packed is not what I ordered.

This is a very busy Chipotle location, especially at lunchtime in downtown Columbia. I went in just after their lunch rush and was waited on quickly and efficiently. I got a chicken bowl and the portion was large and the food was good. Normal Chipotle fare! I got my order to go, but I do like the outside seating in their covered, shady patio.

Don't even bother visiting this location. They are always out of something! I asked for a vinaigrette and the cashier wouldn't give me one because they only had them for online orders. What a waste of time!!! Slack!!!
