We stopped in because I picked up a DoorDash order. Date night success. We both throughly enjoyed our burgers. I had a double That’s What She Said and my wife had the Those Are Shrooms Dude, both great choices. Onion rings are not to be missed, tater tots were cooked perfectly. If I had to find one thing to complain about it was too many cheese curds, couldn’t possibly eat them all before they got cold!!!Portions are great burgers are great!!!

I was sat at a table and ignored by wait staff. Several people who came in after me had their orders taken before I had my order taken. The food took a long time to come out. The fries were inedible and cold, The ClintBeefwood was a tremendous disappointment. The onion rings and bacon on the burger were cold. There was no lettuce tomato or other element. The food was overpriced, not good and the staff was terrible. I wish I had gone to Carolina Wings instead.

I got the “That’s what she said” burger and it was incredible! Very simple but truly my top 3 burger of all time. Fried mushrooms were really good as well. Happy we stopped in here on the way back to Charlotte but will definitely come back if we’re in the area.

On our way to Hilton Head stumbled across this gem of a tavern. The burgers are well smashed and cooked to perfection. Grilled onion or fried green tomatoes add the ideal toppings. The buns were sturdy and hearty. The onion rings and sweet potato fries had a slight seasoning that made you craving more.Our server was so friendly, so inviting. On any trip to and from Hilton Head, Chubbys will be on the itinerary.

To preface: I've had good experiences here in the past for happy hours and dinner. But today, me and a colleague walked in for lunch. There was no one at the host stand so we decided to sit at the bar. There was probably 8 people total in the restaurant having lunch, so they weren't busy. We sat at the bar and waited for someone to say "hello" or "we'll be right with you, please give us a moment" In fact we watched 2 servers avoid eye contact and move right by us without even a word. The phone even rang twice without an answer. 10 minutes later and we decided to go across the street for Mexican food. I'm not sure what was going on in there, but with only 8 people in the restaurant it seemed a bit inconsiderate to let us sit there that long without a word. Again, I've had a good time there in the past, but I probably won't be back.
I had the worst experience today. I ordered a Chubby burger with fries. The burger had tiny onion jam and the burger was not freshly cooked but almost cold - I felt it was sitting on the kitchen counter for a while. Also my fries amount was so little, about 1/3 size of the regular amount. Also I got overcooked, small pieces of potato fries like it was a leftover....I am so disappointed. For me the quality of the food was absolutely awful and way below the expectations!

So today is carb day and for our OMAD, we chose Chubby's Burgers & Brewhouse.We each finished a foot long Chubby Cheesesteak.We struggled to finish but we're no quitters - we succeeded!I feel like it was a food challenge that should come with a t-shirt that reads "I took on a foot long Chubby and all I got was this tshirt!" LOLIt was not lacking in weight or flavor! Absolutely delicious! We are looking forward to our next return trip. We'll be eyeballing some burgers for sure!!
