Bartenders are so self absorbed with their own political affiliation that they don't care bout sales it's kinda sad but typical for places like this. They rather have a stance politically than to serve drinks.Bartender said she is culturally Jewish and then started arguing with customers about Israel.

CJ’s is a really really underrated spot in Five Points! Unlike so many of the other bars in the area, the bouncers were pretty cool, and the bartenders did a great job. While I wish that they might have had a larger selection of beers on draft, they at least had one IPA on tap, and another in a can.
The ambiance was cool as well - it was definitely a dive bar, but not in a way that means it was run down or nasty. They had a cool, vintage Pac-Man machine, and the pool area was nice and spacious as well. Although I didn’t use the outdoor patio, it seemed like the perfect spot to people watch or hang out with a large group of people, and you had a bird’s eye view of the Five Points Fountain.
All-in-all, CJ’s was a lot of fun, and I definitely see myself coming back in the near future!

Ive been trying to quit nicotine and have been using a device that rests in your mouth to satisfy cravings and the bouncer kicked me out for “vaping”. The device doesn’t even produce any smoke if people are allowed to chew nicotine gum I should be able to use a moxē,nic infused toothpicks, etc. The fact this is even an issue is beyond ridiculous, this bar has the most uptight rules, it makes no sense at all to go here. It’s always empty and only ever has a crowd to play pool. This place sucks. I don’t want to get a response about your vaping policy because I was not vaping “flavored air” if I smoke nicotine I prefer my cancer the old fashioned way, combustible.

CJs is a 5 pts staple bar. It's a mix of all types of people so it's not the usual college bar even though it's in that area. The food is served until 10 pm and the sandwiches are all delicious. There's pool tables and a great patio area with a view of the fountain. Hands down the best location to sit and enjoy the heart of 5 pts.

We LOVE CJs. The owners hangout in there most every night on the weekends with their dog who loves everyone. It's a relaxing place to hangout with friends and enjoy a drink and some popcorn or play a round of pool.

Absolutely LOVE their grilled cheese. Great place that feels like home. Gigi the puppy is usually there and makes being there even better. They play major games on the tvs, have fantastic food, nice staff, and pool tables. We come here often and love it so much.
