This place is an absolute disaster. Last time when we came, it took over an hour to get our food even though the place was practically empty. When it finally arrived, it was disgusting—chicken noodle soup with dumplings that were cold in the middle like they were just microwaved, and the peach tea was fermented. Completely unsafe to drink.
We foolishly decided to give them another chance. Big mistake. This time, the waitress took our order and then quit on the spot. We sat for another hour—no food, no bread, no utensils, no drink refills, nothing. The level of dysfunction here is mind-blowing. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to waste your time and leave angry and hungry.

Went to this Cracker Barrel day before yesterday. I was very disappointed in the long wait for the food and the inattentive waitress. We had to ask the server/waitress for the bread they normally give when you sit down. She brought out muffins & the biscuits were raw...We called the manager & they had to send out a new basket of bread. When our food came it was terribly brown as the chicken was fried in very, very old oil. It was hard and greasy as were the fries! They were both cooked in seemingly 2 or 3 day oil! When I showed the manager the greasy fries he asked me if I wanted another order. By that time I was feed up with the service & the food. I just left the unwarranted tip & paid my bill at the counter...Never to return again...

My husband found this piece of plastic with a pointed sharp edge in his cornbread muffin. The manager was very rude about the entire situation. My husband had to cough this thing up from his throat, and the manager acted like he really didn't care. He didn't even credit his meal because of the incident until I had to let him know he was definitely not paying for a meal that almost killed him, and he definitely didn't eat. The manager apparently wasn't trained properly to be in that type of position because he didn't act very professional about the matter. We are definitely looking into a lawsuit all because the manager didn't handle the situation very professionally. They really NEED TO DO BETTER!! He should've been trying to find out how and why was that cooked into the muffin in the first place!!
P.S. Google, please STOP asking me to share my review if you're NOT gonna share my reviews to its entity. The picture of the sharp object is still pending for review for this post, and that's the most important picture for this review!!! If you don't want my honesty, then STOP asking for my reviews!!!

The server that seated us did not seem to know which table she was leading our group to and the staff seemed very disoriented and disorganzed. We waited over an hour for our food and there were no apologies from our server nor the staff member that was as the register that took our payment. There was no biscuits or appetizers offered from our server during our wait and there were no biscuits or cornbread that came out with our meals when they finally came out. When the food did come out it looked downright awful and moldy. We sent my plate back because the Mac n cheese was either burnt or had mold on it (I honestly could not tell) and the carrots had big brown spots and mold on them. Then we all felt really sick after the meal. One of our close friends actually got food poisoning from her meal and a stomach ulcer from getting food poisoning. She has also had to miss work because of needing to recover from the food poisoning and the stomach ulcer. We are all very disappointed and angered by this experience, me most of all because I have never had this bad of service at a Cracker Barrel before. This extremely bad treatment of my husband, my dear friends, and me has made me lose my faith in the Cracker Barrel chain and company as a whole. I despise saying that as I used to go to Cracker Barrel all the time with my grandparents and it’s one of the last places I got to be with my Nana before she passed away. Now, because of this, I can’t go to a Cracker Barrel without worrying if something bad is going to happen (I went to a different location in a different state and the carrots there were brown and gross there too.) and all of this has made me never want to eat at Cracker Barrel ever again. This was our last ditch effort to salvage our weekend as we were already badly mistreated at the DoubleTree just down the road which we also do not recommend going to. We do not recommend this restaurant at this location and we will not be returning.

I haven't been to this cracker barrel in some years. I definitely will not be back! The white guy to took us to our table was rude and off putting. Really that is when we should of just left! He dropped the menu's and keep walking. No here you go or anything. The whole vibe of the store was super weird and off putting. The cook was hanging out at the entrance of the kitchen looking and acting super weird. The food was not great. Both my daughter and granddaughter got shorted chicken strips with their meals. My steak was suppose to be well done was medium rare. The baked potato was old and hard as hell. The waitress brought something out that was supposed to be biscuit they were nasty as hell didn't bring no condiments.for.those nasty biscuits. The upper management need to show some attention to this location. I definitely will never return with all the nasty racist vibes we felt here.

We were there on a Saturday afternoon 03/08/2025. As we were being seated I could see there were very few clean tables. It appeared that no one was bussing tables. What appeared to be a manager made small token pass through bussing tables but did not really clear the tables. After what felt like an eternity our food came. The whole place felt very dirty. This store needs some attention from upper level management.
Everything was wonderful until we went to pay for our goodies we were buying. The employee was squeezing a squeaky chicken constantly and was complaining when he boss asked him to stop saying to us...they never just let me play...
Good thing I wasn't his boss, I would have fired him and let him play all day!

Food was better than it has been in a while! Super crowded but still sat in like 15 minutes and longer wait for the food, but it was so worth it! Hot, fresh and tasty… bread fresh and delicious and so was the strawberry peach lemonade!
Parking: Crowded but did find a good spot

We’ve been going here for years. Recently we went and the restaurant was basically empty and yet they were on a 15-20 minute wait for a party of two. It was inexplicable. We finally were seated and ordered our food. 15 minutes after we ordered the waiter came back out to say they didn’t have what we ordered. We simply left after 30 minutes and no food. Won’t be going back there. Seems like it’s not well run and unfortunately not what it used to be.

It seems every time I come we get the waitress with no personality and just plain out bad! Why are these girls waitressing if they can't even smile for goodness sakes. My food was brought out in increments I got a spoon full of macaroni was never offered another serving and I told the manager. I was given a big bowl of broth and chicken for my chicken and dumpling and the I guess the manager switched it out but never apologized never really even said much at all just not really manager material! My okra was burnt she sent out it was like chewing on rubber! As a manager she should address her customer and look at them and actually SPEAK. She should have brought my plate to me all together great at one time. Not in increments .It was not that good I had a horrible time. But I had my daughter with me she's the one who wanted to go so I made the best of it!
