Arrived with a reservation, no one was there for 30 minutes to greet or seat us. The restaurant was extremely hot, we were told they couldn't turn the air on due to construction in the area, it finally became so unbearably hot they turned the air on despite the construction. The food took a long time to come and 4 people got sick as soon as we left. Maybe it was just a bad day

Where do I start. For 1, I am ONLY giving it at least a star because our server was great!! However , the food… I ordered a seafood boil with king crab, snow crab, crawfish and shrimp.
The shrimp was very overcooked and rubbery, the king crab was SMALLER than the snow crab (which is not supposed to happen lol) , in 3 of my snow crab legs there was NO meat, none. The crawfish was so overcooked that I couldn’t even get them out of the shell. EVEN THE CORN WAS OVERCOOKED AND HARD. And I paid $200 including tip. Go to Juicy Crab, which is my GO-TO spot, we just decided to try somewhere new… definitely was a mistake.

The seafood boil bags were lacking in quantity as the menu described and quality (cold). “Manager” refused to correct or remove from bill even-though the bag was never opened or touched, issue was brought to their attention promptly and respectfully. She claimed they have a policy of not removing or correctly if it is what the person ordered from the menu”. I have a policy of not giving money away ($45.00) for cold misrepresented food. I did feel bad for the waitress but not the review that depicts this location accurately. We don’t make scenes in public and the staff was so young and clearly inexperienced in service; just couldn’t bring myself to mean to them. Even the “manager” that failed in providing quality food that price (43.99+tax).

The mixed drinks are not measured correctly making them taste odd. Not worth the money. Nothing frozen only on the rocks.

We had a party of 8. Our waitress took our order but forgot to check to see when the cheese sticks were coming out. Each time we needed her we had to flag her down. Nobody got refills. They added 18% gratuity which would give her almost a $60 tip that she definitely didn’t deserve. When we told her we weren’t paying the gratuity so she needs to take it off the receipt, we requested a manager. The manager came and told us she would take care of it but instead went in the kitchen to call the police then lied about we were refusing to pay but we were still sitting there waiting for her to take the gratuity off.. The women’s restroom is so nasty, one of the stalls had poop everywhere all over the toilet and the floor.

I ordered 1lb shrimp with the Medium Level Boom Sauce and I ordered my Significant other 1lb of Black Mussels the presentation was good however the flavor was a NOT, The comparison to the one on Parklane (there is NONE). The Owner/Manager is rude and not very customer friendly at all. So this will be my first and last time patronizing the establishment on Gervais Street, but even though I prefer Parklane better it's still the same owner, and I honestly see why she has to stay at the Gervais establishment that's because her demeanor and assitude will not allow her to keep staff.

Rating 1 of 5 and that's only because the Server was amazing and which I feel for her as well as in the way the Owner spoke and treated her. But whom am I but someone who loves Seafood and this place is not a hit.

I was given old food deliberately by management because I took back an order of king crab legs that was old. The manager handed me old spoiled food. Anyone looking for good seafood please don’t visit this place it’s awful I spent $172 and the food had been sitting in pots for days at least that’s what it looked like. It’s sad when an establishment serves you bad food intentionally. I will be filling a BBB claim.

My friends and I ate here and will never return. We ordered the Crab Special and Crawfish Special with the boom mix. The service was good; however both of us are enduring severe food poisoning. It has left us side effects of nausea, headaches, stomachaches, and diarrhea—for almost two days now. Wild crab near Harbison is our trusted spot (better seafood and seasoning), but I think seafood is off limits for us for a while. Very disappointed after spending about $40.00.

As a side note, we visited the ladies restroom upon arriving, and it was dirty with someone’s diarrhea left in a stall. Come to think of it, we should’ve taken that as our sign to leave.

I paid 65.00 for a pound of crab. I knew the price, and i am not complaining. However, i would have expected a plate. Then i had to ask for a metal fork.it is hard to eat crab legs with a plastic fork. The bartender was scarce, and we had to track her down at times. All in all it was the service that was lacking. The crab was average at best.

The food was good but I ordered the Boom sauce and fire level. It wasn't spicy at all. I ordered a Strawberry Margarita and it had ice in it but it was not cold. I sent it back and ordered a Blue Hawaiian, it was borderline okay. The waiter was very nice and he did take care of everything we needed.
