Cromer's is a Columbia staple. I can't decide a favorite between the popcorn, boiled peanuts, or carmel corn. All are fantastic. I get popcorn for birthday parties or other celebrations and it's always a hit. I also like that they carry some party supplies (but it's bulk quanties, so be prepared to store the extra) and I've purchased popcorn bags, etc. They have candy and there is a small selection of nostalgic candy from the 60s, 70s, 80s. Staff is always friendly. They also have a small seating area and you can get hot dogs, fries, and snow cones - I plan to take my elementary aged kids for a fun and different dinner night. I'll update the review after I do.

Interesting local gem. The prices can be pretty high for the popcorn. Also I was literally sick after trying their cheddar and their vinegar varieties, waay too much chemicals in those. The nuts though, both the boiled and the baked ones are amazing, they literally melt in your mouth and are almost addictive. They also have their own personal flavour profile, never ate such good nuts in my trip in the USA as I did at Cromers, but again, the popcorn is indeed the worst in town guaranteed 😅(well I'm exageratting here a bit, I the salty one might be good, to bad I didn't try it). Take at your own risk the popcorn, but definitely enjoy the 🥜

I'll be 65 in March. My mom used to take me and my brother to the old cromers down from the state house. I don't remember it burning down. But after finding out the new location. I was wondering why you moved so far out. I'm in saluda county. But I'm going to find you . !!! Thera casterline
