First of all, it was freezing cold in there. I've never been to a truckstop Denny's before. It wasn't crowded at all. Service was prompt, efficient, accurate, and that's all. She wasn't a bad waitress, she was just indifferent to us. The food was average, nothing special about it. I got the super bird with onion rings, he got chicken-fried steak. It was just okay, and if I had the choice, I would eat elsewhere.

Every time we go there they are under staffed, food is cold or order is not correct and some of the waitresses are no inviting, or attentive, like last time I was there, waitress did not come back for a second coffee. Also the menu has changed to a lower standered like no sausage for grilled breakfast because they changed to chorizo which is definitely not good enoug, as the bird sandwich is gone, plus they run out of thing in this day and age, it’s really sad.

We just started trucking a couple months ago so we are still trying to find our way around. We craved for denny’s so we came to the one in columbia sc. We walked in and Shakur didn’t have us waiting. She stopped what she was doing to seat us at a booth and ask for our drinks. Everything was perfect! I kept saying thank you every time she came to our booth and left lol. She was very professional and the most sweetest person ever. You don’t get a lot of that going to restaurants lately. I recommend everyone coming here and ask for her. Good workers like her will get rewarded in the biggest way. Thank you Shakur for being patient. We gonna come back and see you! -Alexis

It’s hard to find great customer service but today went a little different. HannahGrace took my order and to say the least I’m very difficult I’ve been told. She did a great job!!!!! John the cook came out to make sure he was getting my order right and had it out in 7 mins or less… I really appreciate these two my food was excellent and the customer service was over the top. Thank you guys so much

Anna is always pleasant and very friendly. The cook John checks to make sure we enjoy the food he has prepared to our liking. The rest of the staff is great and helpful too. We eat here frequently.
This is an easy on and off I-26. Located in the Flying J. It is the perfect travel stop on the way to or from Myrtle Beach. The entrance is to the right as you drive onto the lot and you can park right by the entrance. As you walk in the doors the bathroom is directly to the left, restaurant to the right. Our server Anna was VERY attentive but not intrusive. We ordered the Ultimate Veggie and Philly Cheese Steak omelettes. They were PERFECT. We made a point of asking the cooks name to make sure they were included in the review. His name is John, great cook. Highly recommend.
