Came in , no one waiting to be seated , 5mins later the host appeared and sat us in a booth , the waitress was seated in the booth next to us ( we didnt realize this at the time ) as we are wondering where waitstaff was as we decided what to order - she announced from her seating area , "when you want to order just let me know ! " we both ordered steak n egg , med rare , over easy with hasbrowns - plates come out , my gf was edible , my eggs were solid yolks and my steak was cold and after cutting into it still blood red and uncooked except for the lil bit of char where it must have bounced across the cook top , it certainly didnt stay n cook ! If you stop here i recommend its so you can gps a different restaurant ! Otherwise the place was clean.

55+ breakfast is the way to go. With coffee, less than $20 for two people (+ tip), is an awesome deal. Great server today, kept coffee refilled and up to speed in details (Splenda, sugar free syrup, etc.) 3/19/25.
Parking: In the past, I've not been pleased with the service and servers, so I stayed away for over a year. Good service today, so perhaps things have changed at this location.

My husband and I had a terrific breakfast-for-lunch here yesterday. The hostess was very thoughtful about seating us in a spot without drafts. Our waitress was friendly & helpful; we ordered from the 55+ menu. My omelet was perfectly cooked and the filling (bacon, tomatoes, cheese & caramelized onions) was delicious. The pancakes were wonderful: fluffy, golden and a satisfying slight tang of buttermilk, served with a generous amount of butter and syrup. The prices were so reasonable, too!
Dietary restrictions: The low sodium items are clearly labeled; calorie counts are too.

Shout out to dennys on harbison Blvd Columbia SC at 1 am wed Feb 27. Two middle aged men that looked tired that work there knocked it out of the park. Buddy and I were starving after a long business trip. They were in the weeds. They didn't miss a beat. My friend said best diner tbone ever. My eggs for my omelet.. I'm picky and went to culinary school. Dude gave me the best omelet I ever had. 2 thumbs up and give them a pat on the back for superb service which is hard to find anymore.
This place definitely needs a renovation, but the omelette was cooked really well and the ingredients tasted great. Loretta was very sweet and let me hang out after my meal since I came during off hours and was getting my car repaired next door.

Danny's pancakes are supposed to look similar like this... Not flat and burnt looking .The cooks have one major role in the kitchen ..Clearly you can't cook
