Love their breakfast food and their coffee. Wish they had some more comfortable seating available

Great staff, vegetarian and vegan options. Comfortable vibe, great smoothies. The lack of parking and layout (when lines get long there’s not a lot of space at the front) are my only complaints.

If you are looking for a great coffee shop with a great vibe and friendly service, this is the place to go. Its so nice and clean with the best music. They have seating indoor and outdoor.

Never been before! Was recommended this mixture of coke, coffee, and vanilla. Absolutely fire. 10/10 recommend

Just not what it used to be. It’s like they tried to fix something that wasn’t broken. online ordering rarely works. Employees much less friendly. Doesn’t feel like neighborhood coffee shop anymore. Less options on menu. This used to be my favorite coffee shop in the US, even after living in many larger cities. Still good for Columbia, but no longer exceptional.

This place had the best coffee in town if not the world. And had a friendly colorful crowd to boot. Now ownership and management has changed its nothing special anymore.

We visited Drip coffee in Columbia, SC a few weeks ago, as we've heard they offer exceptional coffees. This coffee shop is within walking distance from the Five Points Fountain, and there is plenty of metered street parking within walking distance. We decided to grab 1 house blend hot coffee and 1 nitro cold brew coffee to go. The staff was very friendly and helpful with us, as this was our first experience with this coffee shop. The price was very affordable, and we can see why it's so popular with many of the college students.

I typically love going to Drip, however the past couple of times I went I have been majorly disappointed. I went 30 minutes out of my way to get a coffee here, because I always enjoy it, however due to extreme inconsistency in hours within 15 minutes of me being there they announce that they are closing when on their website AND instagram it says 8. When I then made a comment when I got kicked out around 6:50 about them just posting on instagram about closing at 8 the manager then makes a snarky comment to me of how he “manages here so he knows what time they close.” Wouldn’t recommend wasting your time if you want a coffee around 6pm because clearly you never know what time they’re going to close.

For me this is where my coffee snob journey started. First off the coffee is exceptionally high quality and their pour over recipe is very dialed in and delicious ☕. The food is outstanding, I've had a few sweets and sandwiches from there and it's outclassed a few restaurants every single time. The staff are incredibly friendly and talkative, and the place has a nice feel to it. But in all fairness I do have a couple complaints. The first being that the place is usually pretty loud thanks to the influx of college students, and the vibe that some people give off isn't very friendly or welcoming. It has a very political vibe if you get what I mean. The second thing isn't their fault and infact they work against it, but the parking here sucks A LOT. Other than those two things though this is a wonderful spot to get a great cup of coffee and hang out.

Riverfront Park is one of Columbia’s greatest assets. This 2.5-mile greenway along the Congaree River and the historic Columbia Canal is my go-to place for running, walking, or just clearing my head. The paved path is wide, well-maintained, and mostly flat, making it accessible for everyone. The views of the river, the rocky shoals, and the city skyline are stunning, especially at sunrise or sunset. The historical markers detailing the area's significance, from Native American history to the industrial use of the canal, add a fascinating educational element. I often see people fishing, kayaking, and birdwatching. It’s a fantastic place for a long bike ride or to walk your dog. The park is clean, safe, and beautifully integrates nature with the city's history. It’s a peaceful retreat right in the middle of everything, showcasing Columbia’s commitment to outdoor recreation and preserving its natural beauty.
