I don't know what has happened to this place, but it has definitely went downhill. I have never been to a restaurant and felt robbed as I did on yesterday. Paid $50 for old food with bad quality. Our enchiladas were rubbery, taco was stale, and food was very bland. The nerve of this place to be so money hungry to hand write their prices and tape to the menu and basically rip off their customers. I paid $12.99 for 6 wings that were disgusting and slimy. The only thing that was tasty was the complimentary salsa and chips. I don't mind paying the money but for good quality food. You all have definitely lost a customer because I will never spend money here again. I understand that things are getting a little rough for businesses but ripping off your customers shouldn't be the way to solve it. I wish I could give 0 stars but unfortunately I can't sad to say years ago I gave this place 5 stars.

Located on Decker Boulevard in Columbia, South Carolina, this restaurant is my favorite SPOT for Authentic Mexican cuisine. The staff were friendly and helpful as always. I ordered the, Taco Salad Fajitas with beef and chicken, two hard tacos, one beef, and the other chicken. After receiving my order, I went home to enjoy my dinner. The food was great, I left some for Tuesday. Thank staff, I really enjoyed my meal...

It's a common theme now for places not to use appropriate air conditioning, so it was a little warm when we went in. It wasn't hot enough to break a sweat. It's just a little uncomfortable.

The music, though? The music was cranked so loud the waitresses had to yell to hear their customers. It was loud enough that it made my ears ring by the time I left. I'm all for a restaurant playing themed music, but the volume was ridiculous. I was sitting in a booth right next to my husband and had to ask him to repeat himself multiple times. It would have been tolerable if it had been turned down the tiniest amount. Instead, it was loud enough to cause tinnitus and necessitate yelling at each other. I'm now on track for a migraine.

It's a real shame because the waitresses and the food were really good. We had the Sunday special (carne) to share, sweet tea, water, and queso with chorizo in it. This cost us right at $30 before tip, which also wouldn't be terrible... if that cost didn't include a 98-cent charge just to use a card. We don't mind tipping good service, we don't mind costs, we mind nonsense costs like a fee to use a card. Operating costs should be factored in, not left up to customers to pay... if you decide to be professional.

Unfortunately, I don't think we will be returning. Maybe to get something to go would have been better than dining in, but we'll give it a while before trying again.

Vegetarian options: There are a wide variety of vegetarian combinations for any need. If you ask for some sort of substitution, you may have to pay a small uncharged, but I'm not sure.

Dietary restrictions: From vegetarian to a diet that can't handle seafood, everything is clearly labeled, and explained.

Parking: Decent parking availability around dinnertime. Just be mindful of people walking around.

Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't take my children in here when they have this music thing going on... it's really loud and too warm in there for it. That being said, they do have options for kids, and the dining room is big enough to accommodate.

Wheelchair accessibility: May be a bit tight for wheelchairs.

Honestly, my meal seemed to lack something, the meat does not have a good flavor, it has an excess of chili power, and well, what can I tell you about the attention from the moment I arrived, I sat down and they served me until then? No one came to ask if everything was okay. As usually happens in other restaurants.

Waked in to about five employees staring at me as if I had walked into the wrong building. After about two minutes of trying to check out the menu with the dim lighting over the order window. A guy walks up and just stands behind the register, I asked what do you suggest or what’s your best seller? No response because he doesn’t understand English..I finally offered by number requesting a soft taco in which he responded yes soft taco. My initial order was take out but I decided to order a margarita while I wait from the bar..better lighting at the bar…Bartender pulls pre-mix margarita from cooler, add ice and sprite soda to shaker…salts the rim of my glass adds more ice to the glass and pour the now diluted margarita mix into my glass….got my food and decided to eat at the bar while I finish my drink…food was room temperature. Rice seem to be days old and was immediately sent back..hair in my queso cheese dip…and yes a hard taco when I clearly requested a hard one…once I complained everyone just stood around looking lost…yes the took the wrong items off my bill but I really just wanted the items corrected and a simple apology would have been nice..let’s just say I’ll never return nor recommend this place to anyone ever.

Went there because of the reviews.. but i was sorely disappointed. I heard that the South had great mex food, and this place did not live up to it. I mean.. that says something when your hotsauce is bland and you get tacos with only letuce for veggies. ?ā€?

Well I called in my order and I arrived maybe 25min later , so I will excuse my food for being cold but the food looked like slop. I will upload a pic later.I have eaten here before and the Food was good so I was surprised. The lady who took my order was nice and did offer me something else in return but offered to remake half of my order because I did eat some but I had to return it because it did not look appealing @ all and my friend was upset because he paid for it all
