I ordered the fried pork chop with yams, potato salad, and mac and cheese, and everything was cooked just right. The flavors were rich, comforting, and perfectly seasoned. Stopped by on a whim and was bowled over by the food and the folks working there. I had the fried pork chop, yams, potato salad and Mac n cheese. All of it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The entire staff was friendly and funny. A perfect spot for soul food. Extra credit for some great lemonade in the biggest cup I’ve ever seen. Get some time to go by and get a great meal.

First time visiting on this past 4th of July. I hate it took so long getting here!!! I live in N.C. and there are a lot of soul food restaurants here, but not as flavorful as the Food Gallery! Definitely my go to when I come in town!!!👍🏾👍🏾

The food was great. I cant wait to go back. The building is very homely, so I dont imagine many people eating in, but everyone was nice and inviting. If you want real soul food, then this is most definitely worth a stop in. So glad I finally went.

If you order online I’ll advise you to call ahead to verify they have what is on the menu if they even pick up the phone. I ordered a dessert online and went to pick up my food and there was no dessert in the bag when I got home. I call to tell them and the guy on the phone says with an attitude “You gone have to wait till my sister come back to do the refund” this “YN” didn’t think to take my phone number to give to the lady to call me back to give a refund. The food here is ok but the customer service sucks. Horrible customer service is typical for black owned businesses unfortunately. It baffles me that they don’t have a system to refund money or remove online items that they do not have for the day.
