HEERLIJK!
We wandered into Gang Nam one sleepy Saturday afternoon while looking for furniture and, upon entering weren't sure but...good googly moogly! That food was AMAZING! No frills establishment but, we didn't care. Best Korean food in the city! You MUST have the Galbi and Bulgogi. Chef's kiss!

Good food! Would have liked larger side servings with my bulgolgi, but good variety in side dishes

Absolutely fantastic. Some "foodie" cities I've lived in don't have Korean this good (cough* Charleston *cough).
It was fantastic!

We've eaten at Gang Nam many times and love it. We have tried all the Korean restaurants in town and Gang Nam is our favorite. They have amazing side dishes, great service, and the food is authentic and delicious every time. Recently, we also had them cater a party and they did such an amazing job with all the food. We had several guests that were new to Korean and they all sincerely complimented and enjoyed the food and wanted to know where it was from. The staff were great to work with and made ordering and pick-up very easy. Everything was fresh and prepared on time and again, the food was so delicious! Thank you Gang Nam for making our party a big success.
Parking: Tons of free parking in the shopping center lot.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible in a strip mall with plenty of parking close to the door. No stairs.

Got the bibimbap and it was good! Not a lot of meat in the bowl but a perfect serving size that was reasonably priced. Definitely will be coming back.

I went to this spot last week with a friend and I’ve been thinking about it since. The food is insanely delicious and satisfying and doesn’t make you feel bad after. I will definitely be back. The staff is also very sweet and the food came out super quick. Would recommend to anyone.

I’m deeply disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My colleague and I, both Asian, came here for lunch and ordered the same lunch special as other customers. However, while we were served only six side dishes, we noticed the table next to us, with two white customers, received eight side dishes for the same order. Another solo diner was even served 12 side dishes. The unequal treatment left a very uncomfortable impression. I hope the management can reflect on this and treat all customers equally, regardless of their race.
A formal response to the owner’s comment:
We are not fools, and there’s no need for you to make excuses after the fact. We chose not to photograph the food at the neighboring table out of respect for them. We ordered two lunch specials of Korean seasoned beef bulgogi, exactly the same as what they ordered. It's time for you to face your own issues instead of deflecting.

I am only giving one star because I could not give zero stars. We came in with a large party to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The red headed lady, Joy, who I can only assume was the owner already had disgust on her face. She sat our party at 2 different tables. We had come from the zoo so some of our party had already eaten. After our drink order, she got mad because the people that had already eaten were “taking up a table”. Mind you, they were absolutely not packed. There were only two other small tables with customers. She left that table and started talking smack under her breath in Korean. When I countered her in Korean why she was mad, she said we were taking up a table, even though there were 2-3 other tables completely empty. We left and they lost about $300 worth of business because of her attitude. Don’t go here if you actually want to eat, because they obviously cannot feed a number of people.
Also, the male bathroom had a sign that says, “if you miss, clean up your piss”, which is rude and completely inappropriate for an establishment that has families with younger children coming in.
I can only imagine how miserable this woman must be to work for. The service here is absolutely terrible.
EDIT TO ANSWER BUSINESS RESPONSE: From your rude comment as a business owner, and calling me a liar (bad move since I had 11 other people with me that saw what went down) it proves that you have a bad attitude and aren’t willing to accommodate customers. As I said, you sat our party separately and the ones that had eaten were going to try food first because they had never eaten Korean before. They most likely would have ordered at least bulgogi. Also, you don’t have to give water for free, that’s your own ignorance.
Also, like I said, you weren’t slammed with business when we walked in. You barely had any. There was no line to get in the door, and even with us seated there were still empty tables.,So it looked like you could have used the business that you lost out on (and we would have orders a lot). It does not matter to me what the other customers thought. Your rotten, unprofessional, and belittling attitude is what mattered. Mumbling under your breath in your mother tongue, on the dining floor because you’re mad and think other people won’t understand you, is a terrible business practice. And you never know who speaks your language, even if we don’t look like you. You’re in a military town, near the military base, you should give mind to who is listening to you.
Lastly, we will definitely not be back the next time we are in Columbia, and I’ve already let friends in Columbia know not to visit your restaurant because of how rude you were. I’m glad we didn’t get your overpriced food. Next time I’ll throw down 김치찌개, 떡볶기 와 불고기 in my own house where I k ow the food and the service will be good.
