I enjoyed my time here. When I walked in with my friends we were welcomed with a warm
smile from an employee by the name of Mia. She was very sweet and very professional. I recommend this location.

Telling me you can't give me a cookie because it's hot while you cashier is eating one is crazy to me. But ok I'll take my money elsewhere.

Today I arrived at opening time and the door was still locked (plus it was freezing outside). The lady working continued to look at us waiting outside (more than 7 minutes after open time). Another customer came and we are still waiting. I called the inside just to inquire about when the store would open so I could know if I should leave and come back bc I was on my lunch break. The lady on the inside just watched the phone ring. It annoyed me so bad and I just left.

Great American Cookies is the absolute best in Columbia. They are super accommodating and are always willing to go the extra mile for our team. Thank you to Jo the manager for helping out our team and making sure everything is done for us. Absolute amazing service.

We took our sons out for ice cream tonight at Marble Slab in Woodhill. My youngest son pulled out this large piece of rolled up paper from the middle of his scoop of ice cream. I took it to the counter and was told, “The manager told us to tell people that’s just parchment paper from the big tub where we scoop the ice cream.” No apology or other explanation offered.

Had a mobile order to pickup and the store says it will be open at 11:00am so I arrive at Noon, an hour after they’re supposed to be open and they were not. ?. 2 young employees were inside looking at us like we were not suppose to be there but says they forgot to unlock the door. Fact is they were not even opened, still counting drawer and nothing ready to be served not even my chewy oatmeal cookies. They told me 45 minutes so I left. When I come back, they’re still not ready. This time they need to cool down. ??‍♂️Here’s the tip, don’t let kids run your business. They still need to be supervised. The so-called manager couldn’t even look at you in the face when talking to you or explaining the reason the items are not ready. We had no idea who she was talking to since she’s looking at the floor the entire time. Not a good experience for the first visit. Your manager is not ready for the responsibility of running that location.

I am completely amazed by the service provided on 1/22/22. The store had a delayed opening due to snow and ice and I walked in as the young woman was trying to catch up with all of the opening tasks. I just hoped there would be at least a plain cookie cake that I could purchase and try to decorate myself. The young woman happily offered to make a cookie cake and decorate it however my 9 year old wanted. My daughter excitedly asked for a pig and a lion on her cake. I came back 2 hours later to pick up my order and was completely blown away! The cake was exactly what my daughter hoped for and was the star of her last minute birthday party. Kudos to everyone working in the store on 1/22 and thank you so so much!

I was looking forward to ordering a few doozies but there was a bug trapped in the saran wrap with the cookies. I mentioned it to the employee who immediately removed the tray. She opened the wrap for the bug to get out then she covered it again, but didn't discard the doozies... the tray remained on the counter. They created a strawberry swirl doozie for me and although it was good, I was left wondering if the other tray of cookies were put back to be sold.

We ordered a birthday cookie for my niece. Janai decorated it perfectly. She was also very professional and very kind. She called to let us know it was ready (on time, too) All and all, a great experience. Thanks, Janai!

I am very disappointed in this company. we go alot and in the last month 1 we had to remind a worker to use her mask over the food, 2 only ones in the place and we got ignored by 3 workers talking to one another, and 3 now we had to cancel my daughter's birthday cake needed in 3.5 days bc they said they cant make it due to the icecream being a sorbet which we looked into it a couple wks ago to make sure they could make it and we were told yes they could....

Even during the tough/weird times like we are going through now, the employees have a great attitude and serve with a smile. Definitely glad I made a trip out of my house today for a sweet treat!

We were very pleased with the cookie cake. It looked exactly as expected and tasted wonderful. The cookie had a great texture and we look forward to ordering another.
