The Chef was absolutely incredible, the wait staff never missed a beat, everything and everyone was way beyond expectations. Hands down the best restaurant I have been to so far!

I would suggest teaching the cook staff how not to cross contaminate the food. When cooking going between raw chicken and other foods can give someone salmonella. I would imagine this is also a health code violation. Was there this past Monday and wouldn't recommend to anyone to go there till they teach the cooks that should know this already.

I never leave bad reviews but I felt necessary in this instance. The food is WAY over-priced and I feel like you get better quality at other places for a fraction of cost. I picked at least 3 HUGE chunks of fat out of my plate, and feel my portion of chicken was lacking. while our chef was great...he knocked my husband's saki over and we weren't offered anymore in replacement nor a credit from our insanely large bill. Our side of the table had what seemed to be a pretty inexp

Obsessed with this place, I’ve been going here for 5 years now and I won’t eat hibachi anywhere else. When it temporarily closed during quarantine I was devastated. The hibachi steak with shrimp sauce is my favorite go to!

I was treated horribly by owners daughter. I ordered a takeout, the takeout was wrong. She refused to correct it. I have worked in food service for numerous years. I know this is not a way to treat customers. Sumos on Hardscabble will NEVER get another dime of my money!
From the first moment you enter that restaurant team give you a good feeling. Very hospitable stuff, it is a kind place to go out with your friends or with your date. enjoyable meals, skillful chef, modest pay and generous service. Warmly recommended.

I would not recommend coming here. Wasn't a friendly place. The lady who took my order had a very bad attitude. My salt and pepper chicken was very stringy. Tasted like my chicken was recooked. The only thing that was decent was the vegetables.I would not go back
