I did not eat here, I deliver to this establishment, but I will say it's always clean the employees are always welcoming Tight parking, only 6-7 parking spots in front of the building other than that you park on the street which is a challenge in Columbia Sc.

We were looking for a spot to grab a quick appetizer and beer before catching a baseball game, and Hickory Tavern came highly recommended.

We stuck to apps—wings, fried pickles, and queso dip. The wings were definitely the standout. We’d order those again for sure. The pickles and queso? Just okay. Probably try something different next time.

Used to love this place. Been going downhill for last few years. My recent visit was last night to watch Duke and Alabama game. Sat at the bar and it was dirty and they had beer boxes and dishwashing sitting in the bar. Bartender didn't seem real happy to be there either. Place has always been a favorite to watch sports and eat but seemed like they didn't even want to be open. Sad.
