Home Team will always and forever be mid. I've been at their various locations idk how many times and every time I'm let down. Too greasy, no flavor, bleh. The nachos look good. They were fine. Got a side mac n cheese and it did not taste normal, or at least it didn't taste like their mac n cheese normally does. They must have changed the recipe. Either way, mid. Anyone who lives this place doesn't know flavor.

I came for game day and had the absolute best time! Karl was such an incredible server, made us feel so welcomed and made sure we got everything in a very timely manner. He is a great guy and I will definitely come back because of him!

Great Barbecue place in downtown Columbia, SC. It has an authentic rustic feel inside. We ordered the wings as an appetizer and we all agreed that they were outstanding. They use a dry rub on the wings that made them very unique.
Many people rave about the brisket and it’s very good but I think the pulled pork is even better! The pork absorbed the fabulous smoke flavor better.
They have a variety of sauces on all of the tables including the Mustard based sauce which is a South Carolina thing. I tried several and I was very impressed! Cheers!

Had to wait for an hour or so to be seated, but well worth the wait.
I was initially impressed with the quick seating and friendly service. However, my experience took a negative turn when the appetizer I ordered was unavailable. Because I no longer had the menu in front of me I requested an alternative, specifying that I cannot consume pork because I am Muslim. The server suggested the baked queso, assuring me it was pork-free.
Unfortunately, upon tasting the queso, I detected what seemed to be a protein. After further inquiry, I discovered chorizo hidden beneath the cheese layer. While the server kindly removed the dish from the bill, the incident left me feeling misled and disappointed considering I asked if there was pork in it two times after I tasted the dish.
It's concerning that such a serious oversight could potentially harm someone with a pork allergy. I hope Home Team BBQ will take steps to improve their kitchen's accuracy and their staff's awareness of dietary restrictions.

I had the brisket ☺️absolutely 10/10! The earlier you come, the better. I arrived around 8:30–9:00 PM, and they were out of a few items, but I was still so satisfied with what I got. Definitely worth it!
