I ordered the brisket and it was a good portion alittle greasy but delicious. The Mac and Cheese was good but the chili was alittle bland. The drinks were good, alittle pricey so you could only have one. The service was very good and the place was very clean which is a major plus for me. I’ll definitely go back and remember to add some salt to the chili.

A plate for him and a plate for me. We sat at the bar. We were only in town on a brief trip and took the recommendation of friends on eating here. Once inside, we took the bartender's suggestions for our orders. We had whatever the special of the night was. We had to circle the parking lot a few times due to the amount of people eating at the location. The place was loud but not uncomfortably so. The food was out to us quick, delicious, and hot. The collard greens weren't the best I'd tasted but paired well with everything else we had. The service at the bar was by far the most memorable thing about the experience.

Had the fried ribs and they were delicious. Did the quarter chicken 🐔 and it was excellent! Sides were on point, collards and baked beans.

First time visiting. Customer service over the phone was friendly and helpful. She aided me in chosen a meal, a pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and spicy red sauce. Enjoyed the pulled pork very flavorful without the sauce. Didn't care for the baked beans as much. The sweet tea was amazing! I ordered an hour before closing and my food was not only ready but she ensured I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal (i.e. utensils, sauce, and extra sweet tea).

Great food, great service and a good atmosphere. Split a 2 meat platter. We had the pulled pork and chopped brisket. We had no problem being seated but noticed a crowd starting to build around game time so reservations might be safe depending on time/date

Home Team will always and forever be mid. I've been at their various locations idk how many times and every time I'm let down. Too greasy, no flavor, bleh. The nachos look good. They were fine. Got a side mac n cheese and it did not taste normal, or at least it didn't taste like their mac n cheese normally does. They must have changed the recipe. Either way, mid. Anyone who lives this place doesn't know flavor.

Great Barbecue place in downtown Columbia, SC. It has an authentic rustic feel inside. We ordered the wings as an appetizer and we all agreed that they were outstanding. They use a dry rub on the wings that made them very unique.
Many people rave about the brisket and it’s very good but I think the pulled pork is even better! The pork absorbed the fabulous smoke flavor better.
They have a variety of sauces on all of the tables including the Mustard based sauce which is a South Carolina thing. I tried several and I was very impressed! Cheers!
