We had lunch here. The service was a little slow but still friendly and accurate. My husband and daughter each ordered the pulled pork sandwich. I had the home team salad with pork add on. It was fantastic. The seasoning and the pepitos really added a nice nutty flavor. The corn added a hint of sweetness. Really a delicious salad.

Pulled pork sandwich and mac&cheese was very good. Banana pudding is good too.

Come for the appetizers….forget the rest.Nachos, tots and fried Mac n cheese were awesome.Burnt ends weren’t really burnt ends and the platters were underwhelming.

Well worth the money... had ordered mutiple platters and boards for my fathers funeral. Everyone enjoyed the food very much (I was unsure since there were a wide array of taste preferences) tge portions were ample enough as many enjoyed having second helpings. Will defininately eat from here again.

Like: very good meat, real pickled onions, fun appetizers, lots of parking. the staff is always nice as well.Dislike: atmosphere can get very loud, and the bar stools are really tall so it's hard to climb up on them if you're short. i also don't like the limited dessert options. the waitress also did try to trick us into spending more money by offering something up like it was not an upcharge.overall would recommend, esp if you want good bbq :)

I recently visited Home Team BBQ with high expectations, only to be thoroughly disappointed. Let me break down my experience:Brisket: The brisket was served cold and dripping with grease, which made for a less than appetizing start to the meal.Coleslaw: The coleslaw was dry and lacked any discernible flavor, adding to the overall disappointment of the meal.Smoked Wings: The smoked wings were not only small in size but also dry, leaving me wishing for something more flavorful and tender.Mac and Cheese: The mac and cheese fell short of expectations, landing squarely in the “average” category with nothing particularly noteworthy to elevate it.Speed of Service: Alarmingly, my food arrived suspiciously fast, raising questions about whether any preparation went into it at all.Overall, I found Home Team BBQ to be grossly overrated and a complete letdown. Based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others.

Now, granted, this place is not bad, but my expectations, I believe, were set to high via word of mouth. A nice atmosphere with classic southern architecture in the surrounding area. The service was good with fashionable check-ins and refills. But unfortunately, the food did not impress. I'll give credit to the menu and its layout, doing what most restaurants don't get right and having a catered menu to a specific genre of food, and that is BBQ. I do recommend going here if you are in the market for a decent BBQ meal.

Had a wonderful experience. Food came quickly and was delicious. The chicken wings appetizer was awesome. Brisket was nice and tender. I've never had a negative experience at Home Team.

Don’t order online. They don’t start preparing your meal until you arrive to pickup. Call restaurant. The point of online ordering is to have the food prepared for the pickup. This concept must be lost on this

Was mainly there for the smoked turkey, but was unfortunately sold out… Ended up with double meat platter. Definitely don’t see what all the hype’s about. Staff and environment was great tho.

The worst bbq I’ve ever had in the state of SC. Maybe it’s an off day but the macaroni was watery, the soup stew tomatey and the brisket dry with no flavor. A waste of $20
