Hannah at this location displayed such great customer service. It’s really nice to know that there are still people who work in the food industry like Hannah. Kind of hard to find such great service since the pandemic. Thanks again Hannah for being so nice and helpful

While the place could use some revitalizing, the pizza was good and the gentlemen at the front was responsive and acknowledged every customer even though he was the only one behind the counter.

I've been eating Hungry Howie's for over a decade, and they've consistently kept the prices down and good flavor. With the recent increase in meat prices they don't load the pepperoni on like they used to, but you can double it for a reasonable price if you want. With their deals and rewards it's a great low cost treat and the ONLY pizza my daughter will eat.

On 3/3/2023 I placed an order online for delivery at 5:21PM. Although the tracker said 'On Road' about thirty minutes later, by 7PM nothing had arrived and the tracker claimed delivery 'Complete.' I called the store and the young man listened, apologized, explained what went wrong, took steps to correct the mistake, remade my order, refunded my money, hand delivered the order himself, gave me two valuable coupons, and refused a tip that I offered several times. I have never before had an issue with this store, I've been doing business with them for 10+ years, and their customer service is outstanding! Great people, great food, I always recommend them to friends and coworkers. Love 'em!

Music would have given the place a better mood, sitting in silence was kind okay for those of us having a conversation, it made it really easy to hear everyone elses conversations too. The food was excellent the suggested Asiago crust was the perfect amount of cheesy flavor punch we wanted!

Pizza with flavor crust was good. The service was subpar. If you go here, expect to find drinks somewhere else. They never have any cold drinks on deck and the service was ok. I did not like the fact that they had pizza dough on a rack out in the open. Plenty of other pizza joints to enjoy around the area with drinks.

Cinnamon bread was awful. All sauces (pizza and icing cups) were not delivered; called and poor customer service. Pizza was okay; ordered well done with buttery crust and it was NOT well done at all and no butter crust. Does not leave me wanting to order again. ?

Smh. Walked in and had to lean over people to place an order. There was about 10-12 teens just sitting around blocking the register and the dine in area. We asked the guy who took our order if we could sit down to eat and he said “yeah when they leave.” ? Had to walk across the street to subway to get a drink and use the bathroom. Time goes by while our food is being made and a couple left. When we went in to get our food I asked them to move so I could sit down. The girl in the gray hoodie looked at me and looked back down but didn’t speak. So again we said something to the guy behind the counter and he said ”yeah you can sit down.” Then finally the girl moves her legs and lets us walk between the tables. This is extremely unprofessional. I come here often and never do they have the dine in area blocked or a bunch of kids just chillin in front of the register. Had this been my first time here I wouldn’t have even ordered. Smh.

It took many, many failed trips for me to write this review. Hungry Howie’s is hands down my favorite chain pizza joint. I used to order here twice a week when I lived close by and for 2 full years, I didn’t have a single thing wrong with my pizza. I moved farther away and didn’t go for a handful of years, but now I make the hour long trek once a month…and I’m over it now. I haven’t had a correct pizza from this location in the last SIXTEEN visits (see receipt in photos that shows “Visits: 16”). Every order I’ve gotten in 2022 has been incorrect. Tonight I asked for bacon, ham, double pineapple, light sauce, and extra crust flavor and you can see what I got. Extra sauce. No crust flavor AT ALL (the biggest brag that they broadcast all over their marketing campaigns…flavored crust). Double Ham. Double (maybe triple?) bacon. Light on the pineapple. Literally the exact opposite of my order. I even asked for extra flavored crust in the “order note” section AND chose the option for extra during my pizza customization. I even said please. I tip 20% or more every single time, even when I know there’s going to be something wrong with it. I’ve written to the HH through their online form. I’ve called the store. I’ve spoken with managers. Nothing has changed. Management from when this store first opened was amazing…when the Wall’s left (previous owners), so did the quality of the product. This is a huge huge bummer because I literally grew up eating Hungry Howies in Michigan and it reminds me so much of that time. But I’m over it now. Tonight, the fact that my pizza was literally the direct opposite of what I ordered really drove the point home that this location has lost everything good about it. I’m pretty sure the employees do it on purpose at this point. Oh well. I’ll still enjoy my double pineapple pizza next time I’m in Greenville or Charlotte!
