The place with its history is awesome, the beer is tasty, but the service kinda sucked. The bartenders didn’t seem to enjoy their jobs..at all. We greeted them with excitement just to be met with disappointment. My girlfriend wanted to tip 15%, but I insisted on 20% because I’m in the industry. I honestly wish I let her tip the 15% percent though, because she was right.. They literally did nothing besides pour our beer. When we were trying to decide they didn’t offer any suggestions or samples..until we asked. There were no smiles, no suggestions, no nothing. They honestly kind of seemed annoyed.. So yeah, work on the staff and your place is awesome!
The bartender was on our back before we even fully walked into the restaurant. It was obvious she was not having a good day and does not have any children. I would definitely reconsider having her as a person to greet people at the restaurant. We have always had a great experience here with children. We have brought toys and snacks and scooters when we come to dine and drink here and nothing has ever been a problem. Today we came here after the St. Patrick’s parade with two children around noon and brought a kickball and a scooter and instead of greeting us when we walked up, the bartender just told my daughter not to use her scooter in the building. That was fine. I picked up the scooter and grabbed a menu. Then the other child with us dropped the kickball and the same female bartender told her not to bounce the ball in the building. we kept looking at the menus. Then different children that we did not know came up to the restaurant with their parents and the same female bartender said for them to not run. I’ve never experienced something like this before here. It’s obvious that the children were not welcome so we put the menus back and left and ordered pizza at home. I live pretty close to here and we have always enjoyed it, but this experience really turned us off because our children were not being unruly by any means. We had literally just walked up but the bartender obviously did not like children being there. I hope they made enough money today from people without children. I guess people with children aren’t supposed to enjoy anything on the weekends. The bartender has the day she deserves because she really messed up ours.

We've been here 5 times and 2 of those times there were people with their dogs on the table. I love that it's a family and dog friendly restaurant but I don't think dogs should be allowed on the table.
Cool place pizza sucks so hard it's not even funny
Pizza is solid; they never cut even slices though….
Good selection of beers. Couple ciders. Excellent blt salad and sausage balls appetizer. Friendly staff. Plenty of seating inside the taproom/hangar and lots outside with tables
Nice battery brewery with small menu of traditional bar food. Wide selection of beers that is updated regularly. Not a huge selection of food, but the pizza I ordered was fairly large and tasted like pizza. A lot of space to sit so large groups can be accommodated, including both indoors and outdoors. The building is an old airplane hanger and includes a large amount of brewing equipment which is really cool to see. A great spot to hang out and drink with friends.
Great pizza and good beer. The gluten free crust was one of the best we've had in a while, and the place itself provides a nice atmosphere.
Great time

My experience today, Aug 10, 24, was like being at a Chuck E Cheese. I'm not sure who to blame for all the children running and screaming out of control, the parents (ultimately), Heathwood Hall for having an event (without permission from the establishment) or The Hanger for allowing this to continue. The Hanger is a brewery not a McDonald's and they need not to allow parties for children or at least parties that haven't been scheduled and set aside in designated areas. Shame on the parents for allowing their children to run around and disturbing paying customers. Shame on Heathwood School for setting up an event without permission from the establishment and shame on the establishment for not kicking them out. It was rude and disrespectful to the staff and customers!!'
I won’t be quick to return. Today the place was filled with Heathwood Hall children running around and screeching. It was like being inside a Chuckie’s Cheese. I can appreciate that the brewery is visited by families, but this was a hostile takeover by Heathwood Hall parents with their young, unsupervised kids. A brewery is not the place to allow your young kids to party and run around inside.
Great vibes and great beer! Wasn't too busy so kids could run around and make friends.
Enjoy sitting in the hanger it was a great experience
With much love : please go back to the old pizza crust.Great spot with great workers. We love you. But please go back to your old crust and you shall regain your claim as best pizza in town.
