Il Bucato is still closed as of September 5, 2025. Not sure if this permanent, but sure seems so. No one answers the telephone and the online order form says that the location is not accepting orders. It also states that they will be reopening on August 2. Very disappointed since I thought they had the best pizza in Columbia.

The Pizza is excellent. However, DO NOT order from here unless you have plenty of time to wait. Last two times they only had two people working and it took far too long to complete my order. My order tonight took just over an hour and a half. The app told me it would take 45mins. Hate this because I love the food and the staff is very nice. But they are unable to get things done in a timely manner. Doubt I’ll order from here again.

I've eaten lots of pizza all across the U.S. including some major cities known as foodie destinations. Who knew we would find an absolute gem in the middle of South Carolina? Il Bucato's crust is absolutely amazing. You can tell the folks at Il Bucato put some love into their crust. In addition, there is some serious culinary creatively in several of their pies. With that said, the quality of their toppings has to be mentioned. You can tell the meatballs are homemade with the same love as their crust. Give these guys a shot and try pizza at a place that has passion for what they do.

Absolutely incredible pizza! Such an amazing husband and wife duo. If you’re ordering on a Friday night youll probably be waiting a bit longer than expected, but absolutely worth it. 10/10 pizza and vibes

Ordered 2 pizzas for pickup at open, had to wait a little longer for them to come out the oven but the wait was well worth it! Definitely some of the best pizza in Columbia! The staff was awesome and pizza was delicious. Highly recommend

Placed a to go order at this establishment this evening. Decided to try a couple of their menu options. I had the Pork Trio Pizza with added red onions. The pizza was fresh, full of flavor, and the crust was crispy and delicious! I also tried their Meatball Sub. The sub was delicious, I also added the banana peppers, and the extra sauce which gave it more flavor. The service was good. This is a order and pickup establishment.
Parking: This establishment is located next to a gas station. So parking may be limited.

Been getting pizza here for several years now. Always consitent quality, easy to order, easy to pick-up, friendly staff. All their pizzas are good, but I'm partial to the Bucato!

So yummy, we had cherry pie and a BYO white pizza, mozzarella salad and fresh bread.
Everything was great except the bread was so salty we ended up tossing most of it, too salty to eat. The online ordering for the salad is a bit confusing too, we wanted a house salad but it was unclear what would be included or if we had to build it and pay for each individual ingredient. Regardless, we'll definitely be ordering here again.
Vegetarian options: Lots of customization possible on this menu, so it's easy to order vegetarian. They also have a few menu items that are already meatless.
