1 star review to get your attention. Been coming here for a while and this is my first bad experience. I don’t think I’ll go back but man we were so disappointed. $226.00 plus tip was spent. Sushi rolls falling about (not rolled correctly) rice was cold (like grocery store sushi) crunch in rolls was stale, never got a water refill. Inakaya on Oniel court is definitely the best!!

This is my favorite asian joint in Cola. Period. I’ve been here multiple times over the years, but just recently I found myself at the sushi bar for the first time. Mr. Watanabe is such a welcoming person, and is a master with a knife. I had the Sushi Supreme and just watching him and his sous chefs work is entertainment all in itself. You can tell they are extremely passionate in their work, and it was definitely reflected in the meal. It was delicious! If I could rate more than five stars I would!

Got takeout for the first visit here. While it certainly wasn't bad, the amount of rice in the rolls made it difficult to appreciate the ingredients. None of the items really stood out. Interested in sitting at the sushi bar the next time to try other options. The 10% add on for takeout seems obnoxious when the host wasn't even aware of my order and I had to describe what was on the ticket.

My husband and I came in last night to try something new in the area as he's working in town. I have to say this was the best sushi ever, so fresh and delicious. Everything we had was amazing and we can't wait to come back!!! 100% recommend!!!

We had an amazing meal at Inakaya last night 9/20/24 for my husband’s birthday. We wanted to take my son with us and it was a bit difficult to get him to sit and eat, but one of the chefs asked him if he wanted a little fork, and he brought out a child’s fork with one of his favorite Disney characters on it! Beyond that, everything was so good I forgot to take pictures, but we WILL be back! Service was outstanding and we were made to feel welcome from the time we came in the door until we left.
Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu! And one of the chefs offered a kids fork that made my son so happy.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in Columbia, hands down. There are some decent places out there, but this is the winner. The service is always fast and friendly, and the waitstaff knows the menu very well for people like me who are not exactly sushi experts. The restaurant is quiet, with low music playing in the background. The perfect place to go have a nice dinner and conversation. This is also my son’s favorite restaurant! Enjoy!
