I tried jerk chicken for the first time yesterday and have had it from three different places now. This place is THE best. I just finished eating lol. My boyfriend got the oxtails which were also amazing. The lady taking our order was SO nice, explained the dishes, and asked us if we were military or students so she could give us a discount. BTW, a student plate is jerk chicken or curry chicken with two sides and it's only $12. First restaurant Mac n cheese I've never had to add anything to. We will be back. No pics bc we ate it too fast. Oh, the lady also threw in two island lemonades for us for free which were phenomenal. I don't like lemonade but I loved it soooo
Goat curry is awesome. The rice was super flavorful. Plantains were on point. The potatoes were delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly.
Jerk chicken had hardly no sauce
“Coco bread” was only a big dinner roll with no coconut flavor
Rice was hard
Lemonade is made with BROWN sugar(yuck)
Mac n cheese was the only thing that tastes descent.
I’m highly disappointed because this is a major decline from when I first visited a few months ago. I won’t be returning at this point
I feel I deserve a refund or free meal.
The food was tasty. I had the lunch oxtail plate. The price was reasonable for a lunch portion. I also did keeping in mind that oxtails are expensive. I enjoyed the sides except the string beans. They were just a little under cooked for me but flavorful. I will definitely be back for the cabbage and oxtails.
Oxtail has no real gravy. Neckbones not oxtail. Needs more flavor. Cabbage good
The food was amazing. It far exceeded my expectations. The service was super quick.
First real meal after training and I was NOT disappointed! Everything was delicious and well prepared. Loved the Shelly rice, curry goat, cocobread and patty. PineGinger juice was a hit. Everything clean and good customer service. Authentic.

Food is good ,a little pricey, but the wait is to long,I think you should call ahead..
Rice tasted like pure coconut milk ask for curry chicken got jerk. Chicken portions are small jerk. Chicken isn’t jerk chicken not sure what it is some foreign barbecue sauce overall the opposite of what I want.
Restaurantji Recommends
Sketchy at first when we pulled up as you could only order at 1 window and pick up another, but the Food spoke for itself, and will say hands down best oxtail other my mama kitchen

It's Carry out only. I had the golden lemonade, oxtails with beans and rice. Plus cabbage, plantains, and mac and cheese. And I will be back. The customer service was a warm hug. The lemonade is refreshing. The oxtails and cabbage were well seasoned. And they have great portion sizes

Purchased two small meals here on Thursday. The young lady who served me was lovely. The food is a little pricey. The food was pretty good but the portions or should I say choice of chicken parts was off. Both meals had chicken backs and half of a thigh included. There wasn't enough meat to get through the meal properly. I found myself looking for the other half of the thigh. I'm disappointed. I was hoping for this place to be my new spot for Jamaican food.

Recommended dishes: Jerk Chicken and Rice and Peas
The rice n peas lacked flavor. Coconut rice with a few peas. Where was the allspice? Thyme? Scotch Bonnet? Very bland. The taste was coconut milk and rice. The cabbage also lacked flavor. You don’t need to use salt to get flavor, this has neither. The biggest disappointment was the Escoveitch. The fish was fried too hard. It taste like it was prepared with salt and pepper. There were pickled onions with a little spice. I should have known better when I was told it would take 15mins to prepare. I gave two stars instead of one for the plantains. It’s very hard to mess up plantains, they were okay.
