J&J'S CURRY AND BIRIYANI

We had an amazing dinner! Since this was our first time choosing Indian food, the gentleman helped us select our meals...and WOW! We had Chicken Goan curry, Chicken Kadia, butter naan, and garlic naan. The dishes were fresh and filled with flavor. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back to try more options!

Must visit. This is an authentic Indian restaurant. Wonderful and warm customer service. My husband loved his fish and I drooled all over my tikka masala and biryani.

For those who love wine, they have in stock and variety of beer and alcohol.

Food is excellent. They’re open all day until 930. They just got a beer and wine and liquor license. Excellent stuff very friendly. They do have north Indian and salt Indian cuisine. You do have to come and try their food. I was sitting here in the middle of the day and there were several DoorDash orders.

The food is really good, but if you order from Doordash or some other service and they are out of the item, they will refund you without calling to ask if you'd like something else. I have a dasher on their way to me now with one piece of naan ... That's my dinner.

When I called to ask what was going on, I thought they said I could place and order and they would have someone run it out to me. But when I told them what I wanted, he told me I had to come pick it up, which I'm unable to do... Which is why I ordered delivery in the first place. And obviously placing another order through DD would cost me more money.... So just be careful when ordering through delivery service. They don't really have a good plan for dealing with out of stock items.

I ordered for the first time through DoorDash and OMG. I had the tikka masala which was decent but the star of the show was the lamb biryani. The biryani was so flavorful and full of meat. I will definitely order again!

I had an amazing experience at J and J Biryani and Curry! The food was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I tried the Chicken 65 Biryani and it was absolutely delicious—the rice was fragrant, the spices were balanced just right, and the chicken was tender with that perfect kick of heat.
The Pompano Fish Fry was another standout—crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside, with seasoning that really hit the mark. You can tell everything was made fresh with a lot of care.
The staff was warm and attentive, and the overall vibe made the meal even more enjoyable. Definitely one of the best spots for authentic and satisfying Indian food. I’ll be coming back soon to try more dishes!

First time visiting J&J’s Curry and Biriyani. Located in Columbia, SC in a small strip mall. We were visiting from out of state and found this Indian place and based on reviews it sounded delish! Couldn’t take any pictures because the food was so delicious. We ordered the Tandoor Pomphret Fry( needed some salt in my opinion) flavors were spot on though. Then we got the mixed tandoor platters which feeds a crowd- which we had no clue. Eight (8) pieces of naan with a variety of kebabs(couldn’t even count how many), a bowl of biriyani rice and chicken tikka masala! Like wow- an unbelievable amount of food! Would definitely recommend. No one left hungry that’s for sure. The owner was a very sweet man, super attentive and just very friendly! Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in COLA!
