This is clearly a family run restaurant, and the love and pride that the family takes in providing a wonderful experience shows! These attentive and gracious hosts are all beautiful people; their souls shining through their dazzling smiles. Everything we ordered was was absolutely delectable; so fresh and full of flavors that excite the palette! My family were talking about it for days and cannot wait to return. J&J's Curry and Biryani certainly have customers in us.

We have ordered togo 2 times here, great service and awesome food. I drink an Old Monk beer while i wait for our food. Reqaly love the Lamb Madras and the Samosas. Definitely gonna be back to check out more of the menu.

We catered food from the JJ’s for a special event. We ordered butter chicken , chicken briyani, chicken 65, and gulab jamun among other things. The guests really enjoyed the food the butter chicken and Naan were favorites. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food was authentic and made to perfection. The fish curry was so delicious, and the garlic Naan and chili Naan were amazing. The staff was very friendly. This will be our new favorite place to eat.

Dietary restrictions: For those who are lactose intolerant, there are some dishes made with coconut milk.

Hey guys, you know I like leaving reviews, so on Saturday, Oct 19 2024 7:18 pm my friend and I went to J&J's Curry and Biryani on 4435 Hard Scrabble Rd
Columbia, SC 29229, and I ordered take-out. I made a request for the chili garlic shrimp fried rice, and my brother ordered the goat biryani, I'll take pictures next time it just happened to be that the day of that, we had to take out had to rush, but I'd like to leave a great review because a brother was hungry, and food was fabulous, and they deserve a lot of credit because even the customers in the inside were happy and making recommendations to others so I give them a 10.

This was my second time here. My daughter wanted to come again for her 19th birthday. This time we bought my parents and they enjoyed their food very much.
Everything was seasoned perfectly and the portions were plentiful. I don't know how many restaurants I pass to get here but I will drive the 27 miles anytime to get some good Tandoori Pomfret.

I had lunch there today and the food was very good. The portions for the chicken tikka masala was more than I expected. I loved the garlic naan bread. The dosa was huge. The Chicken 65 appetizer was tasty. I will be back for the chicken samosas.

Amazingly lovely!

In all my years of traveling to most continents, I must admit this place serves the best Indian food outside of Indian. The food was absolutely authentic and amazing. Every meal was well seasoned and tasty. The service was very fast and the restaurant immaculately clean. Customer service was also spectacular… I am very impress with this restaurant and will return. This is a must visit when in the Columbia area…

We ordered Goat biriyani, Madras chicken curry and Chicken 65 for 20 persons for a function.
Food was really tasty and made like an authentic tamil food.
We had a Tamilnadu style goat biriyani after very long.time.
