Excellent dessert cafe. Fantastic cakes and other pastries. Also has a nice selection of boozy and non-boozy drinks. Where else can you enjoy an adult milkshake or wine on tap with a Hawaiian shirt wearing Bacchus? Good service and decor. Worth a trip!

I went on a whim to Kaminsky's after work on a Saturday afternoon because I had heard so many good things about it. I ordered a chai latte, a key lime pie, and a vanilla chocolate raspberry cake (I think that's what it was? there was a lot going on). I was sat immediately, and my server was nice enough, no issue there, and I'm very happy it wasn't crowded. My chai coffee was absolutely delicious, however the key lime pie was.. okay, nothing special, and personally too much whipped cream but that's a personal preference- and the chocolate raspberry cake was just awful. It was way way too dense and the raspberry icing just did not taste good, neither the chocolate coating. I probably wouldn't come back, except potentially for coffee.

I would definitely not order their desserts to-go. Got these churros inside and they were delicious but we ordered the churros to go this time and they were uncooked and doughy. Had to put them in the oven so they would be golden brown like the first time we had them. Will definitely be back but dine inside in the future.

Heard really great things, and this is one you have to try for yourself. The cheesecake was just ok too me, I was not a fan of the texture. The red velvet was a no it had 0 taste, including the icing. I gave a 3 because my daughter enjoyed the chocolate cake, which did not make it home, and she said it is a definite buy again, and the customer service was on par. It's definitely worth a try, and they have variety to choose from.

Came in looking for something sweet and was very satisfied with what I got! Morgan helped me navigate the menu and gave me plenty of recommendations on what to get. Yummy food, great drinks, and a very professional staff! I will definitely be returning soon!

Good service. If you like Cafe, it is on the right, if you want a bar, it is on the left.

DO NOT ORDER OUT!!!

I am sure that this place is great if you are sitting down in the café, but the to go here is a borderline scam.

We ordered a slice of cake, an ice cream sundae, and a chocolate milkshake. The only thing in that $40 order that was up to par was the cake; which is pre-made, so no surprise there.

The sundae (picture attached) was given to us without any of the toppings that it said came on it. It quite literally is just three small scoops of, presumably Breyers, ice cream drizzled in Hershey’s chocolate syrup. No hot fudge, no cookies or nuts, not even a single cherry.

The milkshake was somehow even worse. The $9 chocolate milkshake that we ordered was quite literally a small to-go cup of chocolate milk. I’m not talking about a melted milkshake (hell, I’m not even talking TruMoo), I’m talking a small cup of 2% milk and Hershey’s chocolate syrup. Absolutely abysmal, we could have made it better at home.

The cake, which was the “Mountain of Chocolate,” was actually really good; which honestly made the rest of the food feel all that much more like a slap in the face. I know that their food tastes good, so why did we get shafted?

In their defense, we did order this all maybe 30 minutes before their posted closing time. But still, that’s no excuse for sub-par food and a cup of laughably poor chocolate milk for $40; especially in this economy.

My daughter turned 21 and only wanted an Expresso Martini from Kaminsky’s! Not only was our service from Gracie wonderful, but she made sure the Key Lime Cake came with a flair! Everything was fantastic! If you are a dessert lover and have not been to Kaminsky’s…….you need to head there now!

Fell into this place on an overnight stay in Columbia. Great service and better choices of desserts. The prices were really affordable. Don’t sleep on the brownies in the basket at the register! Was so good well stopped back in on our return drive back home days later!

I came here on a Saturday around 8:45pm. There were a fair amount of people inside at the tables. I heard the hostess said the wait for a table was about 15 minutes. I just came to place a to-go order. It was a smooth and easy process. It only took less than 5 minutes for them to have my order ready. I ordered one slice of chocolate cream cheese cake and it cost $8 for the slice. I thought the cake was a good consistency, but the icing was not as good as I was expecting and I am normally a big fan of cream cheese. I would consider coming back again to try a different menu item. I rated it a 3 based more on the cake alone and it did not impress me enough to go out of my way to come back.

My husband and I had a whole day where we were trying pastries from random shops around the city and this - by far - beat the others.

Good cake but very expensive. Went in last night and ordered black forest cake. Came home to find I got a strawberry shortcake. Will not be going back

Ordered the cookie sundae- which is with warmed chocolate chip cookies. Didn’t get the cookies and asked for them, they just handed me room temp packaged cookies and were like “here” with a rude tone. Didn’t even offer the warmed cookies…

If you like me you grew up what the one rule that you had to clean your plate before you had dessert. Most the time you would be too full and never did get your dessert.
But here that rule goes out the window! It is all about the delicious and the decadent! Desserts are made fresh as needed and you can count on a large portion of Heaven served on a platter. The staff of super nice and the Ambiance was very inviting. If you've never been make plans to go now!
