The food was honestly just bad. No flavor or sauce and it seemed like something I could've easily made from a few ingredients at the store. The whole table agreed. This is definitely very Americanized Thai food.

First and foremost, our server was amazing!! The food - not so much. I ordered the eggplant tofu basil. 1st attempt, the tofu was barely cooked and the center was cold. The 2nd attempt, it was over-cooked and so crispy it was painful to eat. AND, they used canned mushrooms! Ugh! Who does that these days? If you are going to offer tofu on the menu, please train your chefs to cook it correctly. And, the manager declined to offer a discount - times are tight, I'm guessing, and she wasn't willing to budge. I didn't ask for a discount; the server advocated for one. She didn't even come over to the table to try and make things right. Poor experience overall. Thank goodness are server was on-point...he made the experience pleasant.

Our food was phenomenal and nicely portioned. Our server, Gavin, was very welcoming and attentive. It was the first time for my date and he was very impressed and bragged to his friends about the food and his experience. The ambience was perfect for a date night. And it was nice to have interesting drink option that were non-alcoholic. I grew up with a lychee tree in my front yard so it was nice to share my fruit with my date so he could get a taste of my childhood. We will definitely be back!

The tastiest Thai food in town by far! Kao is a delight from the first bite to the last sip. The food is flavorful, fresh and and fantastically prepared. The menu is a lovely combination of traditional Thai dishes and more creative meals. If you're in Columbia and craving Asian food, Kao is an excellent choice - if not the best one.

The last time I came the food was very poor (and reviewed it as such and even sent a person note that went unanswered) and so I decided to come and try it one more time last night. My wife was celebrating 10 years of being cancer free and we love the food at Kao Thai so we chose to eat there. Our table was in/outside and the weather was perfect along with the service and food.

Wife's birthday dinner with the fam! We ate family style and everyone ate to their fill getting to try new things along the way! So many delicious good options. Definitely order the Pad Kapow, Pad Thai, crispy brussel sprouts and the ROTI AND YELLOW CURRY. Trust me.
