I'm not sure what the point of a ramp is. I fell here about 10:20pm on November 18, 2024. I'm not sure if Kroger knows anything about the history of cobblestone streets, but there is a reason we don't use them anymore. They harm people. I am disabled and my caregiver was within enough range that when I twisted my ankle, my fingernail scraped his arm. I hit my knee, scraped my ankle. And twisted the other one. I really appreciate rough terrain with MS šŸ™„ Who chose the design of this ramp?

Not to mention inside, management - not the employees - was rude as could be. In the bakery, my caregiver attempted to engage the gray-haired manager. He not only refused to acknowledge him in the first place and greet him, but he outright ignored him when he spoke to him. Please, don't say you're deaf, sir. I have tinnitus, and I could hear him speaking to you from less than eight feet away.

Also, your cider selection is incredibly lacking, considering we could find Strongbow in Food Lion on Knox Abbott, but not here.

All in all, great employees. My deepest thanks to the young black man who came running out of the store. I didn't catch your name, but the world is a better place with you in it. Management is lackadaisical with customers at best. The manager was chewing out the bakery guy right in front of us, your customers. That was rude and embarrassing for him. As for me, your idiotic design choice may have cost me my ability to walk for the next month, and I was doing very well. Thanks for nothing.

UPDATE: Yeah, the damage is done. Bone bruises and all, I still have issues with both ankles. I didn't stop to do an incident report because I was humiliated. I hope no one else falls.

I saw a rat in here yesterday and I get that you might see a critter or two considering that it’s a grocery store, but a rat??? I don’t ever want to go back there! Employees please make sure the rats stay in the back!!

Very busy location very helpful staff

Liqueur store employee refused to honor sale price on display. In fact, he tore down 5 sale prices and said it was illegal to honor sale prices. Very curious.

It seems that reviews as far back as 5+ years ago have had the same complaints about the store bathrooms. My child had to go really bad and as always the bathrooms are disgusting. Water all over the floor, no paper towels, smells bad, tissue everywhere. Somebody can fall and really hurt themselves. The same complaints for years and years very nasty.

This should never happen seafood should not be gray and fowl smelling (expiration date was ok) so thought it was good. The associate had just put it out. I should’ve known better to purchase when the associate had to unload trucks and work the counter at the same time. I always go to The Fresh Market beside Circle K and never had this happen. Take it from me pay more and shop the fresh market instead it’s literally in their name. Kroger do better please. Such a waste of my time and money 😩

This place is the absolute worst and has fallen far. Kroger used to be one of my favorite grocery stores, but they have some serious issues that nobody is addressing.

I stopped shopping in-store because it looks like a third world country in there. There are always puddles everywhere, half of the freezer section is empty because of ongoing issues, the ceiling over the frozen section is butt naked, and there are never more than one or two cashiers. It doesn’t matter what day of the week it is, or what time of day…you will most likely have to use self-checkout, which in and of itself isn’t bad if you only have a couple of items. But the lack of cashiers means that people with entire carts of food have to check their own selves out and it’s just a MESS!

So, I stopped shopping in-store and figured since Kroger is the only place that carries some of the items I need, I’ll just place a pickup order. Logical, right? WRONG! There is always some issue with the pickup orders as well. This is the second time I’ve used this service, and the second time I’ve gotten a text saying they were running behind and that they will let me know when my order is ready. I scheduled a pickup order for today between 10 a.m. - 11 a.m., but as I’m writing this review, it’s 12:25 p.m. and my order still isn’t ready. I called and asked when my order might be ready…the guy said in about 10 minutes. Well that was almost an hour ago, and I still haven’t been notified that my order is ready. Why even bother asking customers when we want to pick up our orders, Kroger? At this point, you tell me when I can get my groceries.

This place needs new management badly, and a complete overhaul. I no longer care that Kroger is the only store that carries the items I need…I will do without. They will not see my mug around there until they revamp their whole, broken system, and not a moment before.

I got a bag of shrimp, sauces and pasta to cook with and a good bottle of Chardonnay. As has often been the case over the last 25 years. During self check out, a Kroger employee wanted to see my ID. So far so good. I showed him my German driving license, which has always been accepted. This employee did not accept it because it was not a US driver's license. I asked why a German is not allowed to drink wine in the USA or whether I am too old at 63 years old. The answer was: I'm just following the law. I'm thinking about suing the store for racism. Anti-German!

Instacart pick up is slow! I’ve ordered 3-4 times and the minimum amount of time I’ve waited for my order is 20 minutes. Two of those times I was the only car in the pickup area.

Very fresh vegetables at Two Notch location.

Do not use the pick up service at this location. This is the second time I have had an issue. This time I was missing 33 items of my Thanksgiving dinner. I was approved for a refund that will take 5 to 10 days to get back. I guess I won't have a Thanksgiving dinner this year. Thanks for providing a service you can't do correctly. I will be turning off my Kroger credit account and I will start to use another's company for my pick up since this location can't seem to get it right.

We’ve been shopping at Kroger for a few months now and after today we will no longer shop at Kroger and you ask me why well we went there today to do our weekly shopping and when it came time to check out they had one register open and no body bagging your groceries probably 10 to 12 customers waiting in line, now tell me is that anyway to run a business? We will now continue to shop at Lowe’s and we will also start using IGA more often. I don’t believe people should be treated like 2nd class citizens. End of rant.

Tue., Oct. 8, 2024 : 5:00pm to 5:30pm:

Husband left cell phone [Samsung S24 Ultra with leather case] in Kroger grocery cart. Drove back to Kroger to retrieve it. It was no longer there. Asked the lady at customer service if anyone turned it in and she said "No", rudely. She offered no assistance. He returned back to the parking lot and checked all the returned carts. No joy. Meanwhile, I called Kroger and spoke with the same woman in Custumer service and received the same rude and unconcerned response, "No". No assistance. My husband & I drove back to Kroger and pinged his phone. It pinged at the customer service desk. I advised the [rude] customer service lady that the phone is pinging right in her area. She abruptly opened a drawer under her desk and said "Is this it?" Holy cow! What was she up to? Hopefully store managers will read this post and check into this employee. I have indicated date and time above so managers will be able verify who was scheduled. I will also be contacting Tim Massa, executive of human relations at Kroger home office.

Highly upset that the chef Junior class was not ready or prepared for class today. When we already prepaid for the class I spoke with the manager, John, who showed very lack of sympathy or empathy for the situation and the distance that we travel to come to this Kroger in order to have the chef Junior class he said that his team drop the ball and that there’s nothing he can do about it that was very upsetting even though I was issued a refund. I’m upset that something that me and my children had planned to do today and could not do. We have been talking about this all week and they were super excited to get this done , if I could leave zero stars I would , this is not a good look and I will be contacting corporate in regards to this because an email could have easily solved this issue by saying ā€œ hi. We apologize . There’s no classesā€ that would have saved us a 45 minute drive but no they waited till we got to the store to tell us there’s nothing we can do . Unacceptable Kroger
