I come through the drive way often for breakfast.... and on several occasions when I ask for toast, I either get toast and no jelly, or I get jelly and no toast🙄... I have called and made my complaint to a woman manager and she advised me that she will have a talk with the staff. So today I go through the drive thru this morning and get my usual.... I get home and GUESS WHAT?!?!!? I got toast and no jelly smh.... I guess that talk with the staff went in one ear and out the other.... seriously, it makes no sense that I have to now check my bag every dang time now for my toast and jelly. If toast and jelly is part of my order, and therefore I paid for that toast and jelly.... so when you short me, you have actually stolen from a customer. Once or twice, ok.... but when this is like the 5th or 6th time.... and I called and talked to the manager.... now I have to let the internet know my experience. Please be more mindful, or maybe get those girls off their cell phones while they are at work and they can pay attention more to the real reason they are there..... TO PROPERLY SERVICE THE CUSTOMER!

I normally have a good experience but the last few times ive gone in there or ordered to go its been less than satisfactory. Im not sure if the folks in the back just stop caring after a certain time or what since the food literally is a reflection of that. Today, was by far the worst. Everything I had aside from 1 thing was burnt. There was also a bone in my chicken sandwich and it was a size that someone couldn't have missed even if they wanted to. Im not expecting a refund or even a free meal. You cant upgrade the inside of a restaurant in subtle ways and the food go down hill.

The best place for good down home cooking like mom or grandma, just stop in and give your taste buds what they desire. The atmosphere is always good and the staff are friendly and helpful as well.

Went to the White Knoll location. I ordered a chicken sandwich. Got home opened my sandwich and they pulled the meat off a already cooked bone in chicken breast and put it between a bun. Couldn't tell you how it taste. I threw it in the trash. It looked disgusting seriously. Never ever again.

This review is specifically for the newer Redbank location. We had a late night concert Monday night at the White Knoll High School PAC center and decided afterwards to go to this location. We weren't aware that they closed at 9pm until after we were leaving. Most of our party arrived at 8:15pm but we had some stragglers that arrived at 8:40pm. The entire staff was soooooooo incredible and accommodating, everyone helping each other get drinks, refills, bread and food out soooooooo quickly. Not one time did we ever feel "rushed" or "hovered" over to "hurry up." Instead they just let us enjoy our dining experience! The food was fantastic, even at the end of the shift, it was still all so fresh and delicious! I think we wrapped up our bills at 9:30pm. We all thanked the servers and all the management staff for allowing us to stay and enjoy our meal and we humbly apologized to them honestly not knowing the time they closed. The manager reassured us it was no problem at all and asked us if we enjoyed everything, food, service and all. We enthusiastically replied YES! I just wanted to specifically shout out to the store and staff how wonderful our dining experience was. I'm sorry for posting a few days afterwards, but please know your team was phenomenal and it didn't go unnoticed. Ty so very much again!

Not sure if the cook was having a bad day but I won't try my luck again at this location. Just ordered cheese grits and never gain. Cheese did not melt, grits graining and watery. I'll stick to the other Two Notch location

Not quite what I remember from the last time I visited a location several years ago. Wasn’t bad by any means but definitely didn’t make me want to return in the future, either.

I've come to this location for years. I had a disappointing experience last night when the fried okra I'd been craving for months was left off of two dinner orders. The manager today not only refunded me, but he was kind enough to give me a free order of the okra before I left, which I wasn't expecting. That's the kind of service that is a cut above and will ensure that I continue to patronize this location for years to come. Also, the food itself has never disappointed. Delicious.

Went to lizards thicket on Two notch , next to I-20. I ordered chicken strip meal. When I got the food I noticed the strips were very small and one looked like a chicken nugget. I showed the waitress and she tried to get me another chicken strip but mgt. Wouldn't do it. Even the waitress said that's ridiculous. I think these people weigh their food before they give it to you. Is it really that bad to where you can't replace a chicken strip. I will never return to the thicket. If you want a great meal with a good size portion go to( just us Cafe ) in Cayce. You will see a big difference. Food is home cooked, not out of a can. And you will leave full. And mgt. And wait staff are very caring and courteous.

When we go through Columbia we always plan to stop at Lizards Thicket. The variety of food is big and never had a bad meal plus the service is super.
