Lizard’s Thicket on Forest Drive provided terrible customer service to me when I informed them that they omitted a side dish from my order. The waiter informed the manager about my complaint but he was not moved at all. He never apologized or even offered anything for missing my side order. This was a pickup order late last night so I had to drive there after work the next day to get my side order. I was determined to get it because I was looking forward to my dinner with this side order and rushed there before my class just to pick it up. He really laughed at the mistake and acted like I had no right of wanting it. Well he did a great job of ensuring that I go elsewhere. Please check your order before leaving. I know it was a simple omission but the attitude about it was insulting. Customer service at its best!

Ordered porkchop with mashed potatoes and gravy, fried okra and macaroni and cheese. The okra , mashed potatoes and pork chop tasted okay but the macaroni and cheese wasn't. I ordered blackberry cobbler which was okay. If your looking to something close to homecooked it's alright but nothing to get to excited about. The atmosphere was busy and I could sense some frustration from cashier ringing up the orders but she kept it together.

Food was good but I didn't get what I ordered and it's a big might if I go back to this place
Busted stopped to get a cup of chicken and rice soup. It was tasty but very basic and I think it is priced a little high for what you get.

They clam they serve traditional southern, I don't know about that, as I am a Yankee. What I do know is the food is really good. Don't walk away hungry and my wife and I ate there for about $30, with a shared dessert 😋. Our second time going to one, but different location. So the food is constant. Will be back.
