Lizard's Thicket Restaurant

Cannot say enough about this home away from home restaurant. The servers are the friendliest! They take their time with each patron, but are observent and quick with refills.
Meatloaf on Wed. Great!
Liver and onions on Thurs. Great!!
My favorite location is Florence, but i just moved to Columbia.

The drive thru is horrible! If you have somewhere to be don’t get in this drive thru. I got in line at 7:50am, I sat in that line until 8:20am and was late getting to work. I don’t appreciate that!! They should value their customers time better. When I called inside to see what the hold up was I was told everyone was ordering sausage patties and they had to be cooked, when I started to express my frustrations I was hung up on.

This was my first time visiting this location. (takeout order)The staff was friendly and although it was quite hectic due to the holidays, everyone remained professional and accommodating. I know you all were doing your job and for some it was disheartening being away from your families, you all did a superb job.I especially like how you dealt with rude customers who complained because of the prolonged wait. Kudos to each member of the team!

I haven’t even eaten yet, but I will not be coming back based off of the customer service experience ALONE! It’s Thanksgiving and they have a young lady at the front counter who is very rude! I interacted with 5 people and only 2 were extremely kind! I asked for help from one of the other people & he never came back to help me! It’s holiday season, spread good energy NOT bad! This is my first time coming which is very disappointing!

My first visit here was good but not great. They overwork the one server and some of the food was cold. Probably won't go again.

The breakfast experience is quite disappointing. The potatoes are overcooked, resulting in tough remnants of skin, while the eggs consistently contain bits of shell. when requesting bacon to be cooked well done, it often comes out excessively charred. Furthermore, it is surprising that tips are anticipated for drive-thru orders.

Orders given incorrectly (no condiments requested, wrong bread, out of things, etc.). The meat was chewy. They just make too many mistakes here for us to come back.
