I went for the Lamb Chops and they had none 😭 but they are delicious service was great had me laughing to hide the pain of not getting my lamb. The spinach dip was good as always.
Haven't Been There In 3 Years , Went For My Birthday Back In January (Forgot To Write A Review) The Food & Atmosphere Was Great, The Food Was Amazing, Had Stuffed Mushrooms, The Parmesan Chicken, The Mac & Cheese Was A Little Dry Buy It Was Still Good, I Also Tried The Dragon Fruit Drink Was Pretty Good Just Alot Of Seeds Lol , The Spinach Dip Was Great As Well

Good was great, service was quick and exactly as ordered. Only thing was our waitress wasn't very friendly. She wasn't rude and did her job. She must've been having a bad day, but other than her frown it was a great meal.

I like the location and prices here so it's great for lunch. Today though food was not impressive. Had to return the French onion soups we ordered. So salty. After that I couldn't return my salad which was drenched in dressing. But i just ate it. I'm like that sometimes don't feel like complaining much. Fries cold, burger was so so. However good friendly service.

I tried this restaurant on a loose recommendation. Never got any service after 10-15 minutes of waiting at the bar then left. I can't believe this is a Darden restaurant. I would have gotten better service at a diner. Go to Halls chophouse instead.

Disappointed with Food Safety and Customer Service
I visited the LongHorn Steakhouse in the Vista on 3/8/25, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely concerning. I ordered the chicken bites appetizer and discovered two pieces of shrimp mixed in with my food. As someone who is highly allergic to shrimp, this was not only alarming but also dangerous.
I immediately informed my waiter, who called the manager. While the manager (Marissa Louden) provided me a Benadryl pill and only offered to removed the chicken bites from my bill, I explained that I couldn’t take the medication because I had to drive an hour home. Despite this, no further accommodations were offered — even though I hadn’t touched my entrée or drink. I left without eating anything out of concern for my health.
I was extremely disappointed with how the situation was handled. Food allergies are serious, and proper care should be taken to ensure customer safety. I hope this review encourages the management team to improve their handling of allergy concerns in the future to prevent this from happening to someone else.
I’m sharing my experience not to discourage people from dining at LongHorn, but to urge the company to take better precautions when handling food safety issues.

I loved the fact that they moved quickly bringing our drinks and appetizer. The only issue I had was that my salmon was not cooked thoroughly as long as I was waiting for my food. Even when they told me they corrected it, they decided to still cook the same salmon instead of giving me a new one. The food still looked the same. Outside of that, the atmosphere seemed chilled.

While we called ahead for reservation, we still had to wait for over 20 minutes when we got there. After we ordered, the food didn’t get to our table until over an hour. I ordered the Flo’s filet/lobster tail combo and my food was not even warm when it came. The filet was dry. Our poor waitress tried her best and kept on checking on us. Jessica was great and the only sunshine to this dinner.
