“Excellent live music venue, but tonight the sound guy asked me to move from the front of the stage and stand in the reception area side-stage. This was after the band had asked for people to come up and dance for the last several hours. Previously, I was one of 3 dancing up front, but I went to the bar to get the lead singer a shot she had requested. When I got back, I gave her the shot and I was the only one up front. I knew that I was a white guy in a predominantly black establishment, but I felt very welcome until that happened, so I left. Boo, old ornery sound guy, boo.“
