We had almost 20 in our group last night for dinner at this restaurant. Only one server who could not catch up with our orders . My daughter ordered her sushi told them no sauce on top , of course when the order arrived , it had sauce on it . Told the server and she took It to remake it or whatever . Then when her food arrived they literally wiped?? ( somehow .. how ?? I do not want to know ) the sauce off a bit ??
They missed my lomein order then I asked the server about it . This Chinese guy ( we were seated right next to the kitchen ) was stirring something in a bowl looking around .. then 5 mins or so later , that guy brought that bowl to me saying “ lomein with shrimp ??”….
I looked inside of the bowl .. all the noodles were about 2 inch long , as if it was cut short on purpose ? Leftover??
I still wonder what that guy was stirring in the bowl or and why ?? I assume the Lomein should come right out of a wok ????

My husband and I always stop here when passing through Columbia. It never disappoints! We had the rainbow roll and spring rolls on our most recent visit; they were delicious! We had our lunch at the bar. Rachel at the bar took excellent care of us! Thanks, M Vista!

Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have not set foot in this restaurant. However, last week I had the opportunity to dine there twice for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service and quick delivery of piping hot, fresh food, despite the lunch rush. The portion sizes were generous and the value for the price was truly remarkable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying and delicious meal.

Came here with my parents and we enjoyed everything!! The staff were so kind, the place was very clean and cute, and the menu had a ton of great options. I got the dragon roll (fantastic) while my parents got shrimp and beef woks (great portions and even better taste). The manager checked in on us and he was the sweetest person ever. We will be back for sure!! This is my favorite Asian restaurant in Columbia!

I moved to the area a few months ago and have been trying to find my go-to restaurant for takeout. There’s still a lot of places I haven’t tried yet, but so far M Vista is by FAR the best I’ve had!! My husband and I tried the Mongolian beef and sesame chicken (so nothing crazy) and both were SO good. Plus, the portion sizes were decent, the prices were exactly what I expected, and the bartender who took my order was super nice and personable. We will 10000000% be back to try other dishes

Unfortunately terrible food. I got the chicken and beef wok, the M vista roll and the crab wonton. Everything was terrible. The wok had too much water and the meats were limp, without any flavor. The sauce didn’t help because it was too watery. Terrible. The roll was horrible too and the crab wanton were beyond fishy flavor. I used to love these restaurants but this location’s food is almost disgusting. The service was good.

Saw about this pla e online. Decided to go. Got there. Not alot of people. But it was Labor Day. We were seated and greeted nicely. When it was time to order. I believe one of owners came over and talked and helped with order she was nice. The service was good. Everyone seemed nice. The food was good to me. Nice portions. 2ic said hers tasted bland. But overall I thought it was good. And not too pricey. Maybe another visit would give it all 4 stars..

M Vista is literally my favorite place in Columbia, SC. Whenever I drive up from Charlotte I have to stop here. I had Zoe serve and Alex welcomed me with a smile at the door. From the hospitality to the food, I am always satisfied. Highly recommend the Hawain and Palmetto rolls!!

Was in town for a day and as usual did some prior research on where to eat. So glad I decided to go to M Vista. Everything was delicious. the orange chicken fresh, spring rolls great. Egg drop soup. And the sushi we ordered five different rolls and they were all very good. You can tell the owners really care. The food is good quality and their menu is not too big but not too small. They are also very decent sized servings. And they have somehow managed to keep their prices reasonable. Not the massive jumps that you see almost everywhere else. Great service. Was very happy with our visit. This would definitely be one of my regular spots if I lived in the area.
