We have been going here for about 11 years now. They have a very personable bartender named Jill who has only been here for 1 month on the bar and 1 year working for the restaurant. She is super impressionable. This is the type of person you need to make customer come back and my wife and I will be looking for her everything. Great experience!

Great customer service and well prepared, great tasting food. Mongolian Beef with onions was delicious. Beef was very tender and well seasoned. The Carolina Fried rice was also very good, made with fresh ingredients.

Me and a friend visited this location for lunch for the first time. I ordered the Hong Kong Fried Rice, which had shrimp, sausage, pineapple, cashew, eggs, and onions. The meal was very delicious, and had plenty of flavor. The pineapple's added a very flavorful taste. My friend had the Shanghai Lo Mein Noodles, and her dish was delicious! We also had their Lobster Spring Rolls which were awesome! We were greeted very well upon entering, and the service at the bar was outstanding!

M Vista is an amazing jewel in the culinary crown of downtown Columbia. The food is consistent, fresh, and tastes great. They have a wide variety of diahes, maintain vegetarian options, and have amazing sushi. They also have a private dining room, a fully stocked bar (with great ambiance), and awesome service.

I take clients, family, and friends to M Vista regularly, and they never disappoint. The owner is often on site, and manages operations very efficiently.

I HIGHLY recommend M Vista....this place will NOT disappoint.

I ordered fried pork dumplings and two fried shrimp tempura rolls. I also tried a friend’s curry potstickers. The pork dumplings had a good flavor, but the ratio of pork to dumpling wasn’t great. My rolls tasted good, but there were only 5 pieces per roll and each roll was $11.00 so I didn’t get filled up. The chicken curry potstickers were pretty bad. The texture was off putting; I think the filling may have been old or something. Our server was very attentive and polite, and the restaurant was well decorated. I would come again, but maybe try some of the noodle dishes.

My first time having lunch here and I was pleasantly surprised. This is a great hidden gem of a place in Columbia for sushi and other Asian fusion cuisine. I had the red devil roll and rainbow roll both excellent quality, the service and the ambience were also excellent. I’ll definitely will eat here again.

Can the server demand for tip directly to the customer? It definitely doesn’t go with the decorum of this place and it’s disrespectful to the customer.
I had dinner on 5/1/25 here and the Asian looking lady server who had a timid voice demanded that I tip her 18%. I initially tipped 10%. Then the server came back with the check and demanded that I tip 18%. She also stated that “it’s considered bad service if I don’t tip 18%”. I don’t think the restaurant has such policy. If there’s any mandatory gratuity, it’s always added to the cheque. I had to tip her 18% at the end.
It used to be one my fav restaurants and I’ve been there few times. I sure am not going back to the place where they disrespect and embarrass the customer.

And to the authority, if you think it’s a must to tip at least 18%, please specify that on the menu so people from all economic backgrounds can eat here without being embarrassed!!!

I am a student and I tipped 10%. Waiter came back to me and asked for another 10%!!!!! I mean seriously!!! They kinda acted like it is a mandatory thing!!!

Food was very good but the best part of our evening was having Betsy as our server. She was charming, efficient and a real asset to the restaurant.

Sushi is wonderful. I also enjoyed the Singapore Noodles if you are a curry fan.

Tailor, or whatever that blonde fairly large waitress name was. Just slam my takeaway order in my face. Super rude.
