My husband and I tried this place off of a recommendation from a coworker. Long story short, don't waste your money. This place is overpriced for mediocre food and drinks with terrible service to boot. After the 45 minute wait to get in the door, we were hurriedly greeted by our server, who took our drink order and left. 10 minutes later, we get our drinks from a runner. No problem, they're busy and sometimes things take a little longer. Then, the server comes back and asks if we're doing okay. He almost runs away before we can say we're ready to order food. He seemed quite shocked that we wanted food. I thought we were at a restaurant after all? I got the bacon Brie burger and my husband got the honey Sriracha chicken sandwich. We also got an order of poutine to share. Both of our food was OK, nothing to write home about but not bad. His sandwich was missing the blue cheese slaw that was supposed to come on it, but we didn't even say anything because oh well, it's not worth it to make a problem over it. When the server finally came back to check on us about 10-15 minutes after we got our food from another runner, we asked for silverware as we had none and had been trying to eat poutine with our hands and I also asked for a side of ranch for my fries. 10 minutes later, still no silverware or ranch. Finally, he comes by again to give another table their check, but runs past our table before we can flag him down. Eventually, we just suck it up and eat all the food with our hands (with no napkins), stack our plates and wait. When the server comes back, he clears our plates, no apology for forgetting our silverware, and we let him know we're ready for the check. He comes back 10 minutes later empty handed, asked if we're ready for the check. Of course we tell him yes and 10 minutes later, he comes back with a piece of paper and my husband hands him our card to avoid having to wait another 10-15 minutes for him to come pick it up. This was definitely a mistake on our part. When he came back, we look it over and we were charged for an appetizer we never ordered. PLUS two separate credit card processing fees that is mentioned nowhere on the menu or anything. We flagged down our server once again and let him know about the mistake on the bill and he gets huffy and looks confused. We ask him if he needs our card back for the refund and he still looks very confused. He leaves and comes back to our table with $8 cash. That is fine, it's the exact amount of the appetizer that we were overcharged for, but oh well we'll just eat the $1 or so that we were charged in fees and taxes for that. So in summary, never waste your money at this place. It may be decorated nice for Christmas, but ultimately you'll overpay for mediocre food and terrible service.

Went here for the Christmas pop up. I've never encountered SUCH RUDE staff. The men working here have rolled their eyes at our table multiple times for simply ordering and for a misplaced jacket... for a Christmas themed bar they sure are grinchy. Pissed.

It's no longer MSP but a Christmas pop up and they found they worst possible bartenders to do the least amount of work... come in for a picture and leave as soon as possible.

This was quite a cool place to go for the court crowd and sports on the weekends...but they turned over their entire bar staff during covid and need a new GM...bring back Meridith at any cost... and we think that they need some plants and some mid room decorations

My boyfriend and I decided to give this restaurant a try based off the amazing reviews it had received! There was no wait at 7pm on a Saturday which we thought was amazing, but was probably more telling than anything. The host was very welcoming, but that was the only positive experience. They were out of wings for the night (which was the only thing he was excited to try at this place) so he decided to get the hamburger instead. I ordered the chicken sandwichand i had no issues with my meal. When he received his meal it was missing the main ingredient...THE PATTY! How do you forget to place the patty on the burger?? Very horrible service. The waitress was very apologetic, but she was either very new and over worked, or under the influence because she was very slow to even comprehend the issue with what she just served him. The food tasted okay, but the staff is lacking quality customer service. We will not be returning.

Really great food but unfortunately the bar service was lacking as it took over 5 minutes to find out they didn’t have our selected beer and another 10 minutes to get our replacement.

Amazing food. The server we had Mary Katherine is the best. When you come please ask for her, you will not be disappointed.

Poor service. Food came before drinks. They were out of the booze I ordered but put it on the tab anyway. Took forever to get it corrected.

Wife and I wanted something close by so we didn't have to drive. Found this little gem. Staff is very friendly. Jax, our server was amazing. Friendly funny and really made sure we were taken care of. Great selection of draft beers. Then there is the food. I had the Brie and bacon burger. Asked for medium rare and they nailed it. Most serve it over cooked. Not here. Wife had the Buffalo salad. Seemed to really enjoy it. It was Wednesday night, and not much a crowd. Definitely a place to come back to.

Food was amazing. Service was okay. Took awhile to hey our food but it was worth the wait. Pictured is the honey siracha sandwich with truffle fries... It was a lot of food so come hungry!

We came across Main Street Public while walking on Main Street, and we are SO glad we did! My husband had the burger and Brie sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed and I ordered the brisket sandwich and truffle pub fries. (Brisket is my go-to sandwich, so I consider myself a pretty good evaluator.) Is there a way to give this more than just 5 stars?? It was PERFECT. The order came with a side of au jus, which is often needed to help add juiciness to a dip-type sandwich. Did not need it as the meat and onions and cheese stood well on its own. So happy to have found this gem!

The bartender was absolutely amazing

Stopped in for lunch. I totally forgot to take a picture of my food. I ordered the smoked wings with a request of extra crispy and the chips with ranch. The wings were good although the dry rub seasoning was throwing me off a bit. The taste of the seasoning was a bit off. The flavor was interesting. The wings were cooked really well. The chips were cooked well too. I sat at the bar. The bartender was extremely nice and very lively which was fun. They do not have a large menu, but I was able to find a few items that caught my interest.
