Great lunch spot. Expertly fried chicken. Kind people. All of their sides are good but I especially like their seasoned rice.

Portions could definitely be bigger. Food is good. Prices are good on the menu, but somehow both times I've eaten there, it was a couple $$ more. Still fair.

Don't let the outside fool you. Looks sketchy but it's not. I expected my mama to walk out of kitchen with my grandma spoon in hand cigarette in corner of mouth. Mama asking yall good latter asking yall behaving. Food perfectly seasoned and piping hot.

I absolutely love this place. Always friendly and the food is always good. They also have different lunch specials depending on what day of the week it is. If you're ever on bluff road I highly recommend stopping by mama's kitchen. You won't be disappointed.

This is a small, family run establishment. The two ladies working the counter are friendly and extremely helpful! They specialize in home cooked food. I order here all the time for my guys at work and they have never disappointed! Be sure to stop in and get the onion sausage, grits bowl. It's my favorite! But all the food is amazing!

Was on the road delivering a load to Colombia and passed by this location that said Mama's Kitchen.. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So it was about 8am and I needed a meal break. I thought hmm this sounds good... Let's try it out. When I walked in I should have turned around and left. The place looks like a whole in the wall and smelled horrible like an old dusty, moldy house mixed with old fish grease that people were cooking in. I smelled no cleaning product what-so-ever! I viewed menu that had a nice variety, and I thought I better be safe and ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. The biscuit was from a can... Almost sure they were Grands biscuits that were overcooked and close to burnt. Sausage and egg were OK... Nothing like what you would think with a name like Mama's Kitchen. I'm looking for a nice fluffy, buttery, made from strach biscuit. Now what was worse is that I had to use restroom... OMG. SMELL WAS WORSE... HAD TO HOLD MY BREATH! I ate half of the $5 biscuit sandwich and tossed the rest! Would have been better of going to Bojangles like I started to do and get me a chicken egg and cheese. I rate my experience overall a 2 out of 10...maybe even a 1.7!!😳

My wife had dark meat chicken and I had catfish. They tasted alright but could have used a little more seasoning. For sides we had baked beans, collard greens, and mashed potatoes. I could be wrong but they tasted like they were canned, not home-cooked. I guess I expected more from a place called “Mama’s Kitchen”.

This place is not only homey and lovely but has the most sweetest, beautiful employee named Sriya who always is so helpful and kind. She makes sure I have everything I need and always has a beautiful smile on her face. Her mom’s cooking is amazing as well! You definitely need to try this place out it has amazing customer service and food!!
