I'm only giving this a 2 because the customer service was excellent and the staff was very friendly, but I was there for the ice-cream not the customer service. I got a small cup of the Butter pecan Ice-cream and was very disappointed. The ice-cream was very sweat with zero pecan flavoring. It mainly tasted like old ice-cream that had been sitting in the freezer too long. It was definitely not worth $6.49+tax.

Went into marble slab today for an afternoon treat before I pick my kids up from camp and I was greeted by Bailey who was one of the nicest workers that I’ve seen in marble slab in a very, very, very long time and I’ve been coming here for years, most of the times when I come in the staff has no sense of urgency. They seem like they don’t wanna work rushing through your order or have an attitude when the line is very long, but I will say Bailey was so sweet I wish I could of tipped her or done something nice for her. Marble slab keep her and hire more people like her.

Just ordered a DoorDash from there, got a buttterpecan with extra pecan! The butter pecan was icecream was expired! You can taste the spoiled icecream and the aftertaste. I did get my money back on DoorDash and I called to notify the store whom told me he would let the manager know! I informed him to take that ice cream and throw it away before someone has a bad stomach ache! I mean literally you can taste the sourness in the icecream through the buttercream!

The treats are awesome. The place smells delicious 😂😂. The treats are sumptuous. I had the snicker milkshake. It was a bit too thick but tasted great once it melted down a bit. The picture has the drizzle on top and I didn’t get that on mine, will just ask for it the next time I go back.
The employees seemed a bit disoriented with the rush but were able to serve with a polite smile and greeting.

I haven't been to a Marble Slab in a while and can tell that the icecream is very different. Most of the staff was very friendly. My order got messed up because one associate wasn't really paying attention, but it was minor. I can't say that I'll go out of my way to come back any time soon for the experience at those prices.
Update: The owner clarified that this is the original recipe for this location. With that information, I can only assume that I just prefer icecream from other Marble Slab locations and recommend going to those instead.

I came into marble slab having a bad day hoping some ice cream would cheer me up and this young lady who served me I didn’t get her name but she had blue with copperish braids and I can say she made my day a lot better she was so nice she talked to me with such care she asked me how my day was going and just all around being very helpful and kind I can truly say that, that was by far the best customer service I’ve had in a long time and I will definitely be coming back plus the ice cream was great

I have never gone to this place, but, heard some wonderful things about it. My Sisters would often take my Nieces and Nephews there (downtown location) when they were young and my Nieces and Nephews continued the tradition when they came home from college. Fast forward a few decades and I returned home to live and the topic came up regarding Marble Slab during a discussion we were having, so, we decided to go to the Garners Ferry Road location. I’m a very visual person and will absolutely not partake in a restaurant/eatery/or confectionery that is not clean nor give the impression that its employees don’t care. Hopefully, it was only this location that didn’t fit the bill and I will try the Marble Slab location closer to my home in Sandhills. I will update my experience at that time.
