Coming from NY, the bar is set pretty high for us in terms of burger joints. This is truly the closest thing to home we have discovered here in SC! The atmosphere is 100% on point! The staff are all very sweet and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied, except they mixed up our plates/sides. The food, I would give a 6.5 - 7.0 out of 10, but the prices are on par with the food and given the atmosphere and homey feeling of this charming roadside spot, makes dining here an even greater value! A clean, homey, friendly place with decent food! If more attention to the condiments on the tables had been evident (most ketchups had barely any ketchup in them and the malt vinegar they brought had barely an ounce of vinegar left!), then I would have probably have rated this higher.

Unfriendly staff at the register. Didn't seem to appreciate the fact that I spent $50 . Nothing special about the grilled cheese sandwich...not top quality cheese...they use cheese food which is not really cheese. Lots of other good cheese choices are available. I got a handful of chips and a limp pickle spear. Not a good experience and will not eat there again ..too many other GOOD lunch choices out there.Parking: Too close to busy street with limited spaces
We will never use this company @Mathias Sandwich Shop again! Blatant racism and stereotyping during our pick up! We have placed orders several times over the years. This is my husband’s recent experience 12.23.2023.#boycott…………………………………………….They were an hour late on my food because they gave the fruit tray to someone else...I asked what can they do to prorate the cost because I have been there over an hour waiting for food they gave to someone else...the owner said they can't do anything about it....and I asked, there is nothing you can do for your customer which was your mistake...he goes and reached in his wallet and said, here is 20.00, I'm sure this is more than what you make an hour? I told him, "Please do not insult me and he will never get my business again, and he said fine....and walked away

Everytime I go in to pick up an order for a friend' that has placed an order, I give them her name and they will ask what she ordered like they don't put names on the orders. You have to wait in line when though you are picking up an order as they don't have a separate line for pick up orders.I'm not the only one these things have happened to there is always someone in line that is picking up an order and they can't find it.Parking: Small parking lot and hard to get into and out of

I personally didn't like the food. I thought it was mediocre, but pricey. And the place smells like old grease, the building is kind of disgusting looking, the celling and walls appears to have mold. The young lady who served us was kind and polite.Which was nice, because the owners and the rude lady who says she is a manager are pretty racist and make very inappropriate comments about other non-white persons.Vegetarian options: There are salads a vegetarian could get. That's the only item I saw.Dietary restrictions: I didn't not see anything gluten free. They told me they didn't have any keto friendly menuParking: There are a few parking spots. Hard to park, half of the time you need to circle the are a few time and come back to get a space, and to get out of the parking lot is a nightmare. You drive straight into a very busy St. Andrews Rd.
