Brisket was cold and dry more like jerky. The hash and rice DONT DO IT. Not true Carolina hash. Rice was soggy hash had zero flavor. Best thing was the sweet tea and the hush puppy. Pulled pork was decent.

We stopped at the main restaurant for a meal years ago on our way to or from Florida and fell in love with the Barbecue sauce. Have stopped in when the time is right for a meal. Have the sauce delivered now.

Walked in and we were the second person of the day, a little after 11 am we went to place our order no green beans, or pork skins were not ready we ordered 2 bbq plates pulled pork was covered in sauces had no flavor other than too much yellow sauce it was cold in the middle so I am guessing it was yesterday’s bbq with cole slaw ( it was ok too sweet) sweet potato casserole it was reheated we could hear the microwave beeping when it was done it was still cool on top and in the middle. The staff we not very friendly the lady who took our order was somewhat friendly but not really. The bathroom needed mopped, strong smell of urine, the door was nasty and needed a good a spray of cleaner and wipe down. $40.00 wasted, left feeling very disappointed nothing was good and still hungry but now feeling sick It was 2 trips in one for us our first and last I would not recommend!

The staff was very friendly. The brisket was very dry and bland. I ordered a platter and got 6 slices the length of my index finger. I ordered a platter. The baked beans were soupy which resulted in a much smaller amount of beans. The potato salad was light on flavor. Overall, I was very disappointed as I had high expectations for this establishment.
I am (largely) a meat eater only. Ordering burgers without buns, etc. has been pretty disappointing UNTIL I STOPPED HERE!! We ate at the Clemson Rd store. My husband loved his chili dog & these were the best cheeseburgers I have had in a very, very long time--AND reasonably priced. We will be back!! Thank you!!!

I don't like BBQ much, but Maurice's ribs, mac'n'cheese, bacon cheese burger, & sweet tea were all delicious ? Every week I visit Maurice's, & I've never been disappointed. Ty! The staff is extremely polite, helpful & on- point w my orders. 10 of 10 every time!

Fantastic food in a great atmosphere

This location is a drive through only. If you drive a full size truck you are going to need a copilot to help you make it through their narrow drive through. The location is also not located in the best part of town either. With that being said, the food is palatable and served hot. It's your standard mustard based bbq served with hush puppies and fries. I thought the hush puppies were an odd addition for it being bbq. Nothing to write home about, but it will fill a hole in your belly in a pinch.
