Found this place on a random search. We gave it a shot and let me tell you what you will not be disappointed. The food was great and at first it didn’t seem like the portions were going to be enough but let me say this I was way wrong. The food was great and the service was even better.

First of all, they had an appetizer that was just a skillet of cornbread, so I was already sold! The cornbread was so fluffy and they give a nice helping of butter. For my entrée, I got the Queso Birriabecue. Their pork was very tender and flavorful. I've never had something like that before, so I was excited to try it. Our server was amazing and very helpful! Definitely stop in for some good bbq, if you're in the area!

Great products, a lil pricey but for whatever reason, the corporate or stores limit how many servings they put out of certain products like the pork chops (one of our favorites), so they frankly run out of the product; or they altogether removed or cancel certain products like the meatballs or the broccoli casserole, both of which were one of our favorites also.🤑🤷♂️🤩🙏🫡🇺🇸#REBTD😇

Friday night, 8/22: Two friends and I were looking for somewhere to enjoy some camaraderie and good food. In the past, I have enjoyed Midwood and had a fairly good experience there. However, upon arriving before my friends, then I was told that I would have to wait and be seated when they came. I wouldn’t mind, but the hostess was very snarky and that the server for that section didn’t want to take on any other guests. The hostess said something under her breath about “accommodating extra people not being worth $2.00/hour. I let it go and waited for my friends. When they arrived, and we asked for a larger table, she told us that large tables were for five or more guests only and while seating us, she was rude and curt.. We sensed that we were not welcomed there and immediately left. As previously mentioned, I have always enjoyed Midwood in the past, but you can be sure I will never set foot in there again. Please train your staff on good customer service so that you will not lose good paying customers who would have tipped very well because of the hostess’ unprofessional behavior. NOTE: We didn’t spend any money there because we left because of her very nasty attitude.

Shout out to Midwood for taking great care of our group of 10 last night. After a little miscommunication with the hostess staff, manager Frank took great care of us and getting us a great table on the patio. He was very gracious, responsive, and understanding of our needs. Our server, CV (I don't know how to spell his name, but he had told us to feel free to think of CVS when we said his name), just couldn't have been more attentive, professional yet friendly, and spot on in taking care of our drinks and meals. And the food .... Midwood never disappoints. I think their BBQ is over the top, as it sure was last night. Thanks to all for making our gathering a success!

Came here with 9 people for a business dinner. The restaurant did a great job and no one in our party had a complaint. Everything was great. Good job
Cute bbq spot. Tried for the first time and wasn't disappointed. But I would say go earlier than later since once they run out of meat, they're out for the day. Im a mustard bbq sauce girl but liked their vinegar sauce more than id thought. They also have traditional bbq sauce. Banana pudding was great too.

The server was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the menu, foods, and favs. The atmosphere was casual; much like the Friday’s chain. The food was delicious: especially the ribs! The hush puppies could be larger. There was no bread served with our meal. There was the option to purchase a pan of cornbread, but at $11, it was a bit too steep.
Please consider offering corn muffins with meals and/or reducing the cost of the cornbread skillet to $7 for example.

They we're in shift change at the time we were there, 3pm. So kinda slow to get a table there was 7 open tables? Did was great and service was great once we day down!! The young guy who served us was super. Great food!!! Had some left overs great food!!!
