HORRIBLE! Living in Lake Carolina, MJ’s used to be a nice local pub - no longer! Service had been going down hill, but this evening set an all time low of any restaurant experience- EVER!! We went in, no host/hostess so we grabbed a table by the bar as it wasn’t too busy- about 5:15pm. 20 minutes later the one server seemed over his head so the bartender finally came out to get our drink order and returning with those fairly quickly, took our food order. 25 minutes later, the server finally came by to tell us they had live music tonight and we needed to move somewhere else - now! Nothing polite, just move. Didn’t know we’d ordered food, that it should have been out, or that our drinks were now empty - jut move out of the way for the entertainment to get set up.
Horrible service, cancelled the food and went to another restaurant where they like customers.

This photo is of the mens room. How do the cooks wash their hands? Ordered beef tacos and they were cold with barbecue sauce on them. Yuck. The grilled chicken salad we ordered with no onion and it was full of diced onions and no cucumbers or croutons. The bartender did not even stop by to check on us, but did comp all of our food. After traveling all day it was not what we wanted to sit down to. Won't be back.

I ordered a chili cheese burger. I expected your typical chili. I got thst sauce you put on a other dog. Cheese? Never saw or tasted any cheese. The Mrs sd the salad was ok

Food: not good and very basic, one meal never came out… said they forgot to start it with the other meals. Asked for a salad without cheese and the bottom of my salad was all blue cheese. Long wait for food when it wasn’t busy. Service: slow and not customer focused Atmosphere: LOUD as hell and had to scream so others at our table could hear each other.

Whoever works at that bar is extremely rude. They asked me and my friend to get up from seats they were saving for a family who were currently seated outside. Wouldn’t allow me to order without cutting me off and made my experience awful. I left to call my lawyer to see what could be done. You guys can’t call yourselves professional or welcoming. Get it together in that place!

Worst Margarita pitcher I’ve ever had. Pretty sure the bartender forgot the tequila. She made the pitcher in the back instead of at the bar, which was the first red flag. Then we were charged $15, when last time it was $20. More than likely she served us a virgin pitcher of sugar. Completely disappointing. Waste of money, and will not be returning for happy hour.

Went with my daughter. Sat there for 10 mins. No one came to seat us. Called the phone, listened to it ring while standing there. Someone said “don’t answer it”. No one answered. Check that place off the try list lol
My wife and I came here for a Friday evening date night and we loved the atmosphere, and food. Payton was our host and waitress. She was very friendly and made us feel at home here. We will definitely come back for another date night! The burger tasted like they were straight off the grill and I loved the Fruit Roll-up Margaritas. My wife had the chilli dogs and the chilli tasted homemade.

Food was okay, I ordered something so simple and just was not impressed. I didn't even finish my meal, so it was a complete waste of money. My cup also had brown stuff smeared on the side of it so of course I did not drink it. Most likely won't be going back to this establishment. Should have known better when I saw it empty during peak time.
