The service was spotty at best. We ordered a large queso and for $7.99 you would think it would be a large bowl but instead it was a wide saucer, that you could barely scoop out with a chip without breaking it. The salsa tasted like tomato paste and large chunks of cilantro. The ACP was okay but we had to ask for napkins and silverware a few times before getting them. Not worth the $30 spent there.

Stopped here going home from Charleston SC. The building is on the smaller size. However, we were sitted right away, service was good, food came out hot and fast. My husband and I ordered carne asadawhich tasted good and was NOT tough. We will visit again!

Ended up getting a Burrito with a side of beans and rice which was good! The food was to just right for me! It wasn't like CRAZY DELICIOUS but good enough to definitely go back. The service and attentiveness needs to be better!!

I had low expectations going in because i am used to california mexican food. I was surprised at the large menu options and great prices. All the food items we tried were good except they do not make their own flour tortillas, and that is a deal breaker for us . But the other food was authentic and the rice and beans were homemade.

Ordered lunch to go. Get there to pick my food up and they tell me they made one a lunch and one a dinner. Since my co-worker didn't specify they automatically gave me one as a dinner. Even though there was a misunderstanding they wouldn't work with me at all and said i had to pay the full price making. my total $5 or so more. So I dropped my $25 on the counter to pay and walk out. As I'm leaving the girl behind the bar with an attitude yells and don't come back. I will gladly not return. First and last time ever.EditCo-worker states she called back and talked to a female and told her they were both suppose to be lunchs.

Great place to eat and I enjoy. Just plan to eat in the restaurant. Carry out is a rip off - all orders include a carry out fee and the portions you received are very small compared to what you receive in house. $5 for a condiment size container of queso.

Incredible authentic food, service was great, best Mexican we’ve had in the area. We will be back. We had 2 adults and 2 kids and we all throughly enjoyed it. Salsa and chips were great, loved there ice. Prices were very reasonable. It’s hard to find tacos that have flavor and there’s meat was very moist and great flavor. I can’t say enough but if your looking for a night out to get some food, make a trip here, you won’t regret it.

We had a wonderful Mexican dinner there a few days ago. First off, the salsa was excellent: a little chunky, flavorful, and a bit of kick too! Best salsa I've had anywhere in Columbia or Sumter! Chips were good. Meals were delicious and they took pride in the presentation of the meal, which is not common at most Mexican restaurants. Finally, our waitress was right on. Overall, a great experience. We will definitely be going back!

Came here with my parents for my birthday dinner. We arrived just at the heart of dinner time, so there was a little bit of a wait, but less than 10 mins in and we were seated with menus and a warm welcome from our server. Food is phenomenal and they have a fun drink list sure to please anyone.

Very easy access once you get off of the highway. It’s pet friendly if you’re sitting outside. The service was a bit slower and their portions are smaller than other Mexican restaurants but the food was very delicious. Their combination options are very good and they allow you to customize it. Pricing is a bit higher for the portions but worth it for the taste.

Food was pretty basic, honestly I expected a little more, after I read some reviews, but I wasn't really impressed. If you want a cheap bite of Mexican food good place to go, I got full. The place gets very crowded and I feel the quality of the food can't keep up with how busy they get. My burrito was pretty bland other than the Pineapple on top. Refried beans almost had no flavor to them. Good for the military people who just want to get something quick to eat. Not the place for a foodie like myself.

I have eaten here several times and I have ty chori-chicken every time. The people are friendly and the food is great! I have introduced several friends and coworkers to Moctezuma and they all love it. I will be back many times.

Absolutely love this place! Best Mexican food I have had since California! Salsa is on point and the food has amazing flavors vrs the normal bland “it is what it is” mentality. This is a go to place and has outstanding service!
