Best pizza place in Columbia, especially if you’re vegan like myself. Would rate lower because of prices but tbh they are still cheaper than a lot of other places
Dietary restrictions: If you are vegan, just get a no cheese (not even the vegan cheese, it’s daiya brand and tastes like melted plastic) and load it with veggies. Thank me later
Everyone for the most part is always friendly when I come in I always get the mod salad which feeds my whole family of for the only place. I know that you can get as many toppings on a salad with no extra charge and it’s fresh.

I’ve been to different MOD locations in the past and have had great experiences. Don’t think I’ll ever go to one again after this latest experience. The choice of toppings is very limited compared to in the past, and even more so when compared to Blaze. Both of our pizzas were so skimpy. I felt as though the girl preparing them had never had a pizza! She only put the sauce in the center of the pizza, hardly any toppings, minimal cheese. I had to ask for more of each topping 3-4 times. I had to ask her to extend the sauce and toppings beyond the center of the pizza. I was basically telling her how to made it, and even then she would only add a tiny bit extra each time I asked. Not sure if this is shrink-flation but it was ridiculous! We should’ve just walked out. Lastly the pizza was undercooked. Save your time and money, go elsewhere. Only positive was that the restaurant was clean.
Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten friendly pizza crust. The staff member didn’t change gloves without my asking. Lots of cross contamination.

This MOD Pizza is located in a shopping area within walking distance to a Barnes and Noble, World Market, and Target. So after shopping at those three stores, we walked over to the MOD Pizza for dinner. We got MOD pizzas, where we could customize our own pizzas. I got tomato sauce as the base, and mozzarella cheese and feta cheese. At first, I felt that they did not put a lot of mozzarella on, so I asked for some extra and they sprinkled on a little more. I got spinach, mild sausage, and pepperoni as well. They put it in the oven and we waited about 3 minutes for it to finish. The pizza was amazing. It tasted just how I wanted it to. We also got drinks and we absolutely love to mix the blackberry lemonade with sweet tea. I will say it was pretty warm in the restaurant, which I guess could be attributed to the pizza oven, but it wasn't too bad for the short time we were there. Workers were super nice, though the last step of the final sauce on the pizza was not asked about when we picked our pizzas up. That’s not a huge issue though.

Visiting South Carolina and went to Mod Pizza. It was made quickly and with toppings of our choice. Tasted great. Service was great.
Heard good things about MOD pizza. Finally went to check it out, not impressed especially for the price. I had never been there before, but the staff never asked me if i needed help or if i had questions about the menu or how it works there. There was about 7 employees and one person was in the front of me, she was being taken care of, but I waited for about 10 minutes for the same guy to put in my order. i ordered off their menu, but it seemed like the guy didn’t know what all went in the order. Finally, I paid, tried the pizza and i’m just not impressed with the flavor. The flavors of the pizza were very bland and the bottom of the pizza was burnt. I’m sad that it wasn’t as good as it sounds.

Be very ware of this location.1. They are soooo slow. Doesn’t matter if there’s 2 people or 20 people who placed orders, you will still wait ages for your pizza.2. They will mix up your order. Always open the box and check it right then and there and don’t be like the pregnant lady who gets all the way home only to discover she was given the wrong pizza. (It’s me, I’m the pregnant lady)3. Make sure it’s cooked Al the way through. Don’t be like the pregnant lady who they have a pizza that was falling apart and uncooked to. (Yes, me again, getting screwed over on two separate occasions.)4. Management and customer service are non existent here.Save yourself the trouble and just go somewhere else!

Came in after a long day on Tuesday April 9th between 7/8pm. The staff there greeted me with smiles and awesome customer care! I can't remember the ladys name in the jean overalls but she's the perfect example of going above and beyond to please the customers needs. MOD Pizza should be happy to have such a great team member that represented the company well! Each staff member took their roll serious and literally perfected every pizza and the one salad that I ordered! Keep up the good work guys!
