i have eaten food from this restaurant many times and it has always been very fresh and tasty. However, today I ordered a summer salad with salmon online for a to go order. When I got it back to the office, the salmon was very dry and overdone and the lettuce in the salad looked to be old. Big disappointment. I hope this was just a fluke.
First time eating there today. The staff, especially the waitress, was awesome. She made us recommendations based on our allergies, likes, etc. Food portions are generous and the flavor is great. Will definitely go again!

I began eating there when they first opened. The pandemic began not long after. But they adapted & built up their clientele through those months & years. The food is fantastic!

We went to eat here after watching the monks walk. Earlier when the monks passed through they got swamped with business. We got seated almost immediately and 5 minutes later the waitress came and took our order and 5 minutes later we receive our apitaser. Right after that we receive our meal. The meal is absolutely delicious there was lamb and chicken and salad. All while they were swamped. We dined outside. There was a smell i am unsure if that was a restaurant smell or a city smell but it was not pleasant at all. But over all it was good and the food is good like 87/100 good. For the food it is reasonably priced.

Noma Bistro by Al Amir is one of those places that’s easy to overlook until you try it, and then you wonder why you didn’t come sooner. It’s a locally owned Mediterranean spot on Main Street with a menu that’s simple to navigate, consistently fresh, and full of options that work for a lot of different people. It’s halal, and they also have plenty of choices for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free diners, which makes it a great pick when you’re meeting up with a group.
The food hits that perfect “healthy but still satisfying” lane. The shawarma, gyro, and falafel options are all solid, and the build your own bowls make it easy to get exactly what you want without it turning into a heavy lunch. Everything tastes like it’s made with care, and it feels like the kind of place you can make part of your regular rotation.
Service is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and it’s a great option whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. If you’re in Columbia and want Mediterranean that’s reliable and genuinely good, Noma Bistro is absolutely worth a stop.

Unfortunately my server was not friendly towards me but warmed up a bit. But too late & left bad taste in my mouth. Damascus bread was warm & excellent but didn't expect eggplant dip to be cold but pretty good. Pepperoni pizza was just ok.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner, and left as both satisfied and convinced to return. The Damascus bread needs no hummus to be delicious, and is complimented by the Tabbouleh salad. We can hardly wait to return, and Al Amir has surpassed their competition that is known by the initials MTR. You have two new regulars!

Amazing! We did takeout for New Year’s Day. Our first time having Mediterranean food. We got a lamb gyro, lamb Shawarma, fries, stuffed grape leaves, baba ganouj and Damascus bread. The woman who took our order was fantastic! We told her it was our first time getting Mediterranean food and she told us we definitely needed to try the Damascus bread rather than the pita because it’s so good, she was right! She also recommended another dish to us that we bought, but I don’t remember what it’s called. It was definitely some kind of ground beef over top of saffron rice and pita and then in the same container there was a really good hummus and delicious spicy feta. 10/10 way to start the new year! As expected, the tzatziki is to die for

I stopped by NoMa Bistro while traveling, and it was the highlight of my trip. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and warm.
A special thank you to our server, Ahmed, who provided top-tier service. He was friendly, attentive, and everyone made us feel like family.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the fresh-baked Damascus bread—it arrived warm and soft.
Everything was delicious and 100% Halal. If you are looking for authentic flavors and the best hospitality in Columbia, this is the place. Highly recommended and can't wait to come again.
