My husband and I decided to try a new spot to us for breakfast. We searched Google for breakfast near us and The Original Brunches appeared. We decided to check it out and it was okay. A mom and pop restaurant that wasn't too far from us. I had the shrimp and grits and he had the pancake special. It didn't take long to be served and we were in and out in about 40 minutes or less. I wasn't WOW'ed so that's the reason for the 4 stars. The grits were seasoned well but the pancakes were a little over-done but edible. The meal was less than $25 for both of us. I would return because the food was decent, customer service was okay, and there was practically no wait.Parking: Plenty of parking available.

All our food was very bad the omelet was very dry without any cheese. The biscuits were burnt on the top and bottom. The owner checked us out and never asked how the food was. This is sign of of poor tasting food and don’t ask if you know it’s bad.

We were disappointed that they had breakfast potatoes and not shredded hashbrowns. Also, the gravy was a very thick consistency, needed to be thinned out a bit. The rest of our breakfast, the service and the atmosphere was great.

Wanted some diner style burgers and came here for the first. Totally delicious! Will def come back for an actual breakfast. They are super busy so make sure you have time to enjoy your meal.

The food was cold. Cold grits, cold sausage and gravy. Plain white I guess out of a package white gravy and they chopped cold sausage into it.That is not sausage gravy with drippings.The people were really nice. I am not enjoying writing this. They explained the steam table cut off a half hour ago. I went in around 11:30 am.So sorry. They did not charge me for the sausage and ‘gravy’. Which was good.

One of our favorite breakfast stops. Food was well prepared, delivered cheerfully quick. Stop by twice you feel like family. HOT TIP - side order of sausage gravy over ANY omlet is an experience!Great Breakfast, lunch us fine too.
