Nice little place. The only thing I didn’t like was that some of the sandwiches if they get toasted, they are burnt. I don’t like my bread burnt. I got the roast beef and the bread as you can see in the pics is too burnt to my liking.
I also got the Reuben. I didn’t like the cheddar cheese, so I switched it for provolone but the meat didn’t have any flavor at all. Didn’t seem cooked to me. Didn’t like it at all.

Hidden gem in the Forest Acres neighborhood. Local people and a long time location.
Inside an old country store don’t be fooled by the exterior, inside delicious food and cakes await. Local folks are loyal customers almost like home.

for many years. All of the food is very fresh and delicious. Sandwiches, salads, and soups are very good. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is pleasant and friendly. They are known for their Greek Turkey sandwiches, but my favorite is the Turkey Melt. They serve a different soup every day, and on Friday it is Chicken Bog.
